I don't know why people support a club that isn't even in there country, nevermind there city. You can't be called a true fan. No way. That's my opinion and many people where I'm from take this view as well.

It's like me supporting Ohio Tigers (I doubt that's even a team) but you get the picture. It's beyond pathetic. You should support the team in the city you're from. End of.

Dont agree at, the Premisership is the best and is beemed all over the world its the best standard of the sport of football in the world, i suppose someone from London supporting United is a bit much but i am a hardcore fan not as much now i use to go home away with United as a kid and i think its all to do with your family i mean as a kid your parents and grandparents have alot of influence with your life and my grandad is the main reason i support United, so say if your from London and your family has a long tradition of supporting a certain club and you have been brought up on that club and its not in the area you come from i think thats fair enough.

The guy in Morroco i dont see as a problem similar to Mick its like people who are into Ice Hockey an Basketball and other US sports who are not from America they all have a favourite team they watch on TV, the premiership is beemed all over the world and people from Morroco and other countrys are going to follow that and pick a team they like to watch and support.

There is dick heads i agree who pick teams because of there sucess but i think its a bit over rated mate, unless your a real football fan your never going to shift your allience to another team. Im United till i die im from Manchester and theres plenty of fans from Manchester who support United mostly the majority.

Nope not at all.

I can't name one good football player from Canada (I'm being deadly serious) and I'ld support Ricky Hatton over Steve Molitor any day.

Even Youngblood stated Canada suck at boxing.

And yes I like one other sport from Boxing and Football, which is Tennis. I root for Andy Murray every time. He's from the UK and he's ranked number 4 in the world. He has beat Federer X2, Nadal and Djokovic all in the past year.

LOL ya we suck at boxing, but i root for talented boxers, not just Canadians. Besides boxing in Canada isnt funded like it is elsewhere so we have leiitle chance of ever being a powerhouse at it.

I think theres a Canadian on Newcastle.

And BTW tennis isnt a sport.

In all seriousness the EPL is the best league and i enjoy watching it so i picked a team. Just like i did for the NFL and NBA. When picking these teams there were no Canadian teams and once i choose a team i stick with them regardless. So you saying that im not a true fan because i root for a team out of my town or even country is a joke.
