I watched "JCVD" yesterday. For the most part its all in subtitles so be prepared to read if you rent it. I actually thought the movie was pretty good, its not your typical Van Damme movie but actually pretty good.

yea same here. i wasnt as freaked out like was when i was younger. i was more interested in the story than being scared. i didnt even know they even made a creepshow 3 . that was some weird shit..each story confused me...

It's actually as much an arthouse film as an action film & shows that he can really act, & is largely set in Brussels so obviously its mainly in French. It's certainly very different, the action sequences are done in a very different way to his previous films. He's playing himself in the movie. Quite frankly I think its a travesty Sean Penn got the Oscar for playing that gay fella, I've watched both, & I thought Van Damme was better
