"If there's a better chin in the world than Pryor's, it has to be on Mount Rushmore." -Pat Putnam.
No, it's just a bit random to bring that level of statistic into it unless you've got a vested interest usually. Sooooooo... are you Brian Peters?
Their respective performances against Martinez are what divides them for most people, you can basically scratch the other fights. No one could deny that Munroe has had to come from more humble beginnings in his career than Dunne (he is/was a binman for christ's sake) & I think that is another reason people like him more. I can't say I actually dislike Dunne, he seems alright to me & I hope he beats Cordoba, but I would fancy Munroe to outbox him. Don't see either doing anything on the world stage though because they're in WAY too much of a tough division
No I'm not Brian Peters either lol!You cannot boil down two boxer total professional careers based on how they dealt with 1 guy!Dunne didn't get the chance to show his skill against Martinez and Munroe was not that convincing in his last fight against Martinez so I don't see how you can say that Munroe outboxes Dunne, that dosen't make sense!
Just think that it's strange how everything Dunne has achieved is discredited and Munroe is praised by all for doing nothing spectacular.
The thing is, the one common opponent is often the best way to compare two guys. I didn't actually see the last fight although I heard it was more convincing than their first fight where I thought he solidly outboxed him. Simple fact is Dunne got KO'd by Martinez in a round & it clearly wasn't a case of Munroe going into his shell to survive, so their respective performances do raise questions. Anyway as it is, Dunne is the one with a world title shot, so despite what most of us think, his career is on a higher level right now
It's a bit silly to slate Munroe's opposition considering he twice beat the bloke that sparked Dunne in one.
If Dunne had the European title I doubt he would be taking this "world" title shot. He is a BIG underdog against Cordoba - and what happens if he loses?
Munroe can carryon earning a few quid defending his Euro title.![]()
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I am not slating Munroe's opposition,I am responding to the comments saying that Dunne has not done anything to deserve a title shot and Munroe has!Way too much is being made of the loss to Martinez,he is a 3 round fighter and easy to outbox,Dunne got cocky against him, that was his mistake but Munroe beating Martinez does not equal Munroe beating Dunne.
What has Munroe making a few quid got to do with anything,It's not a competition between Dunne and Munroe to see who can make the most money!

You mean Miss not Sir! I have seen all his opposition and I would not call Esham Pickering,Yuri Veronin,Cristian Faccio,Damien Marchiano,David Martinez, plus all the guys he fought in the US, past their prime, not when he fought them anyway! You have a personal dispute with Dunne so I don't put much stock in what you say about him.
