If Oscar had came in heavier then it's likely that he wouldn't have been so slow and lethargic. So no... Hatton shouldn't worry about coming in light... just coming in right... what ever weight.

The weight he will put on between the weigh in and the fight is very important as it will be his fuel for the fight. When he is fully re-hydrated and his muscle gylcogen stores are full he will feel at his best.

And like you say, adding muscle won't slow you down unless it's to the point where flexibility is severley hindered.....something that a 140lb fighter is unlikely to have to worry about.
