Problem was he had 7 weeks to train and in that time the extra weight he added wasn't just muscle tissue. He looked a little softer and his pre-fight breakfats was a fried one. That would explain why he looked like shit.

Being a solid 152ish is a lot different from being a botched 152+ which he was for the Collazo fight. Thing is, i think he'll lose this fight anyway and people will point to the weight if he comes in a bit higher
I was watching the Collazo fight and the Urango one too, this evening. He does look chubby against Collazo around the waist, much sleeker against Urango. I like the fact that Ricky hasn't ballooned between fights this time out, with the correct conditioning he should be in awesome shape come fightnight against Pac.
In the past he'd come into training and for a few weeks he'd just tick over to lose a few lbs and then he'd start serious conditioning work. Thing is his camp will be much more technique based with Floyd and Beard so i don't think he can afford those few weeks ticking over without extending his camp. It'll do him good to get a good 10 weeks working on a fight plan and technique rather than working on volume like he did with Graham.

Definitely. Less of getting the body into trim and more on getting the mind working with it too. Pac is going to be a tricky little shit, but with the right strategy I think Hatton has got what it takes here. This weight talk is nothing worth worrying about in this fight as far as I can see. Ricky seems on the money.
