Boxrec rankings are just generated by computer so obviously understandable if they fuck up, although I really can't understand how a computer can calculate a defeat to Calzaghe puts Hopkins ahead of Manny with a win over Marquez but I digress.

The fightnews ranking is just retarded though. How can Manny be ranked in a weight class he hasn't fought in, much less ranked as number 1?

He should be ranked either in the lightweight or welterweight category right now, either number 2 in the lightweights behind Marquez, or around number 5 at welterweight behind the belt holders and Cotto.

Rank him at light welter only AFTER he's fought there.

Its absurd to rank any fighter at a weight he has never fought. Also very disrespectful to Hatton, a guy who has the titles at that weight and fought most of his career at. Pac electively vacated his lightweight belt to fight a non title fight at welterweight with Oscar. Pac is not a champion right now and he is not the best in a particular division right now. Its not even arguable.

Imagine how excited Saddoboxer will be when he sees this

Anyway, this kind of stuff, it just doesn't annoy me anymore, I am out of outrage, I find it absolutely hilarious when people compain about the WBO or IBF or whoever's rankings, they've rated dead people before, come on now, how is there any outrage left.

I guess fightnews should be better, I get that, still wake me up later.

BTW I burned my finger horribly the other day. Here's a tip for you people since I'm looking out for you, if you cook in a pan on the stove you can touch the handle cause its not hot, if you put the pan in the oven for 30 minutes at 400 degrees and then grab the handle you will burn the shit out of your finger.

that's pretty ridiculous, and all they do is prove they can't do rankings worth shit lol they have 2 men who've never fought at 140 in the top 10 in Nate Campbell and Joan Guzman, and Urango deserves to be #3 or 4, Torres should be higher up and Arnaoutis isn't even on there and yet only SaddoBoxer would think this makes sense

Joan Guzman at light welter? He weighed 135 for his last fight and his next fight is at lightweight too. That lst is garbage.

What an absurd ranking, and Campbell ranked No.3 on one of them, do me a favour. You couldn't buy that crap. Neither of them have fought at 140, especially Campbell, he'll get blown away by a top 140 fighter.

Pacman certainly won't be number one ranked come may 3rd anyhow.

The 50 or so boxing writers/experts that comprises the FightNews rankings committee think their ranking is sensible enough to be published in their website and shown to the whole world...
