Alot of money to blow if they didnt expect anyone to be there,or do you think Trinidad is next to Cleveland and you can just walk there?
So how many asses do you think they thought were going to be in the seats, when they booked her?
Or do you think, the type of promoter who can book a place like that got to where he is by just setting fire to his money and hoping for the best.
For less than $1000 bucks you best hope not many.. otherwise you've been ripped off, old son
You obviously dont understand the dynamics of the buiz son, most day if you get a grand your kicking ass in negotiations
You must just read Frank Warrens page or something, because that isnt how it works my SON
You must think its all 12.5 mill with 10.5 mill going in to Don Kings pocket world

Look, TM, you're the trainer/manager/matchmaker/promoter on the phone 24/7 dealing in the "buis"... so you tell me - How many tickets did Leslie sell? Will the venue be full when she fights? How many punters are expected for the main event?

    Who is Leslie entertaining?
    Yeah funny
You cant get a hotel room in the entire damned country now.
Ill save you time,we'll make history, and you can just complain about it like you allways do,later
    Know your role
Listen, Son, i'm not complaining about anything. I'm asking you questions.. which you seem incapable of answering.

The fact you got Leslie/yourself just under $1000 bucks is pretty impressive. Well done. I was thinking the promoter put her/you on the bill as a favour. At the most I thought you'd be on a hunderd bucks, Denny's vouchers and a crate of Buds.

Good luck to Leslie. I HOPE she wins the fight. Your posts will be unmissable

Listen Son, most fighters in the south make 2 to 4 hundred bucks for their fights,so she's making a wee bit past the curve as to what she makes.
I love the perception the fans have of how much a boxer makes, and what they really make,Chacon agreed to 12,500 to fight Spadafora, and now the fight might fall through because its too much money and the promoter cant afford it. Literally the whole card could fall on its face right now, which sucks because I have a fighter on the undercard, and the kid needs ring time.
Sorry to spoil the myth, but it aint all 40 mill fights at the Garden, its usually 400 dollar fights at the armory.I cant get Christy Martin booked, strictly because the promoters wont go for her asking price, and for a former champion she's not that unreasonable. Ann Wolfe was asking for donations to keep the doors of her gym open. Mahfood is in college right now,Chacon works as a security guard, and even my Missus is a manager of a call center.
Welcome to boxing son,it aint all that nice,it aint all that lucrative

lol @ Denny's vouchers. You have to admit, that is funny if you understand the history of it.

Anyway TM, you are pretty easy to wind up. Without a doubt you piss me off from time to time by spouting some amazingly ridiculous stuff, but I won't ever wish bad for you or your wife in a match, so I'll just say Good Luck to her and leave it at that.

    'will fight for change'.

Actually $1k for a womans bout is not bad, it's still considered a novelty in many parts.

Look, don't kid yourself (oh the irony), no-one thinks you're Don King or Frank Warren.

We know you deal in chump change.

We know the reality of pro boxing.

It's why many of us are DISGUSTED by a so-called boxing man, from the "buis," wishing DEATH on fighters. You will never get off the bottom of the barrel with that attitude, son
