When did he say that he couldn't out fight pacman?

I love how you're saying "he's in panic mode, he's accepted that he can't out fight pacman because Pac is too much" etc etc what are you basing this on?

Anybody can read what Hatton is saying and see it for what it is, I want to be the first to congratulate you for sharing Pac's nationality but I think that the abstract conclusions you seem to be coming to are reached on the basis that all of Pac's opponents are in awe of him as you are.

    Not the case I'm afraid...

If a pac opponent gives examples of when they've out boxed a slick boxer and been able to overcome a power puncher it's not because they are panicking/afraid/anxious/terrified of pac and don't know what to do because he is literally a god... it's because they are giving examples of the tools they have to use against him.

You guys are worse then the pre-Calzaghe Kessler fanboys.

"Ricky Hatton knows his bulldozing style of fighting won’t be good enough to beat Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas on May 2. Instead, he will rely on hand speed and punching power."

I think many will give the speed advantage to PAC and punching power is just even... But what is the use of punching power if you can't hit your opponent cleanly?

Does the doctor legally prescribe you the medicine or do you get this stuff on the black market? Either way, you are stark raving mad.

Pac is a likeable fighter, but his fans bring him down. I cannot wait for Hatton to beat on Pac and with it give this board a good old cleansing.

Can you not accept reality? Speed advantage will be for PAC and punching power maybe just equal...

Pac might be faster. But I knocked down a tree last night. That is a fact.

That doesn't mean that he is going to try and fight him like Floyd Jr would... It means he accepts that he can't just walk forward swinging wild punches at Pacman like he would of with Billy Graham. His 'USUAL BRAWLING STYLE'...

Did a young Mike Tyson Brawl? No... he was aggresive and came forwards, he took the fight to people and used good footwork and hand speed to do so. That doesn't mean that he fought with a style like Muhammad Ali though.

When you joined the Pacman fan club did they send you out special tinted glasses or something?...

I agree with you that Hatton will use everything... Bulldozing, hand speed, hugging, punching power, hugging, elbows, hugging, low blows, hugging, MMA, clinching and many more styles and tactics... But I think it's not enough... PAC will still inflict the worst beating on Hatton...

Careful what you wish for, all the good work done by floyd of cleansing the board of Hantton groupies will be undone.

Being a solid 152ish is a lot different from being a botched 152+ which he was for the Collazo fight. Thing is, i think he'll lose this fight anyway and people will point to the weight if he comes in a bit higher
    He was 160 against Collazo.

I agree he should use headmovement, but unlike other times, he should keep his hands by his head, I notice he lowers them when he is coming forward and thats why Mayweather could hit him at will coming in. He needs to change this against Pacman, but I think unlike Tyson he needs to fight how he fights when he gets Pacman on the ropes. He needs to smother Pacquiao, and give him no room to get punches off.

Wasn't saying he fights that much like Tyson mate... just trying to explain to the nut hugger how a fighter can out fight somebody and use technique to do it.

I agree... god knows what was up with Ricky's guard in that fight... The way he was boxing he NEEDED a guard and it was basically non-existent... he might as well have had them behind his back.

Became very disenchanted with Billy Graham pre Collazo and thought he was a joke afterwards... with hindsight I think he took Ricky up to Tyszu and that was his limit... you can't just do almost nothing but beast a fighter and then throw him in with elite, slick fighters.

Hopefully with a real boxing coach rather than a glorified conditioning coach/pad man he might have been able to make the right adjustments to his game to actually be able bring his strengths to pac.

    Will be interesting to see...

Hatton was 158 on fightnight against Collazo and this was in 147 division. Against PAC in 140 division, I'm guessing Hatton will be 149 come fight night while PAC at 150 lbs.

He will probably mix it up when he sees the need for it so Manny can't get into a rhythm, why does he have to announce his strategy? Also give it a rest about arm length and shit, Hatton never boxes on the outside he uses movement to get him in punching range, always has.

There you go, why does he has to announced his every plan and stragedy? Is it a ploy to confuse the opponent? If this is their purpose then sorry it won't work. PAC been in many fights (50 plus) and he knows how to deal an opponent.

So why the many announcements? Is it an indication that they're already in panic mode? IMO, it's an indication...
