Almost every guy McCall fought out of ten had more losses than wins in his past few fights, the opposite with Barrett. Barret lost to guys like Valuev and Rahman and generally fought a far higher class of fighter than the club fighters McCall was beating. There's no question he was operating at a better level than bloody Oliver mcCall, so if beating McCall earns you a shot at the title then beating Barrett should do the same. It's not like the heavyweight division is overstocked with talent is it? If the Klitschkos did fight Haye it'd be the first live body either of them have been in with for years.
