Damn Master, you're a human boxing almanac. I guarantee you have a lot of these youngsters thinking you're making that shit up.
Maske for sure.
Ruiz no doubt.
Let's not forget Michael Moorer.
DLH - c'mon, that's rediculous.
Byrd was actually pretty entertaining early in his career; it was once he tried to take on the real heavyweights that he put people to sleep.
These guys quickly come to mind...

haha that made me laugh as I instantly thought back to his barnburners with Evander and Chagaev and have to agree he is possibly the most boring fighter in the history of boxing.
And yet becuase of his height and freakish appearance he's still kind of compelling.
In regards to De La Hoya, maybe the OP is just saying that Oscar as a personality bores him to tears, which to be fair he does me.
Can't deny he hasn't been in some great fights but I just have no interest in anything he has to do or say.
For Arce I recommend you watch:
vs. Fanni
vs. Cordoba
vs. Hussy both fights
vs. Choi
vs. Carbajal
vs. Castro both
vs. Alvarez
vs. Makepula
vs. Rojas
vs. Concepcion (contender for FOTY, last yr. IMO)
vs. Vic
For Oscar:
vs. Valenzuela
vs. Maywethear (Jeff)
vs. Avelar
vs. Paris
vs. Carter
vs. Molina
vs. Rivera
vs. Quartey
vs. Leija
vs. Gatti
vs. Vargas
vs. JCC both
vs. Carr
vs. SSM both fights
vs. Campas
vs. Mayorga
The new version of Taylor has to be up there, that didnt used to be the case, but it is now
who said Michael Moorer?
Moorer at Light Heavyweight was a beast, was a world champ and moved up to become the undisputed heavyweight champion by beating Holyfield.
He is in a class with Spinks and Roy jones Jr in that regard. Why would anyone say he was booring?
Are we talking about current fighters?
because that list up there for the most part must stand for the fighters last fights or something and not their entire career.
Unless De La Hoya vs Quartey was a snoozefest...
moorer vs cooper

I'm gonna say Whitaker at 135. He was so dominant that after the 2nd round you knew he was gonna win, it became a matter of would it be a ko or decision... & more often than not it went the distance!
Whitaker was a great fighter but never really created any excitement because he was so much better than everyone else!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
I think that is Jorge Arce's resume there Mick...He said Francisco Arce (Though he is mot even near world class caliber to even consider to be on the list of guys considering he is not a mainstream fighter for the opinion to be debated)...
Now if it was Jorge Arce and he was on a boring list then I would suggest watching a new sport for him

I don't know what's funnier.
The fact that "Panchito" Arce is in ANY type of list in a boxing board or the fact that I thought it was Jorge...
Thanks Daxx.
can't sleep? just watch, Jermaine Taylor Vs Cory Spinks, Ossie Ocasio Vs Carlos De Leon, or Sergei Liakovich Vs Shannon "The Ass Cannon" Briggs
