Haven't seen anyone saying Khan is the best in the division. You'd more then likely find more people saying that Khan's win against Barerra doesnt count and some evenbelieve that Barerra would knock him out.

I didnt say anyone said he was the best but they are saying after his barerra performance that he could be ready for guys like katsidis and JMM. I know katsidis aint that great but fuck he can punch and i dont think khan has what it take to keep him at bay. I think kats would fuck him up. And JMM...im not even going to say anything about that, waste of breath.

Ready for the likes of Katsidis?? Mate Katsidis is ranked around 9 in the division if he aint ready for this one dimensional fighter he might aswell pack his bags now, Kahn should be looking for a fighter like Katsidis and if Kahn fights clever would destroy and bust Katsidis up imo. Nate ain't there no more, he's gone up to 140, and I can't see JMM stickin around long when he's already beaten the next 2 best guys in the division. He might only fight the winner of the GB Lightweight tournament, but he ain't waitin for Khan. Khan can outbox Prescott if he's smart, but can't see him beatin Casa or Diaz. I reckon go for Katsidis (he's taken too many punches and has a ring age of about 37) or David Diaz (another guy who really is there for the taking). Beat one of those than go for a title against anyone but JMM.

I would laugh my head off if a fight with JMM were to materialise. Would never happen though. Katsidis would be a decent fight, and would tell us if Khan can hang with a puncher. Out of the names listed here, that is the most logical suggestion I have heard.

Khan is 22 years old we don't know yet how much he will improve.

Right now of course he shouldn't be thrown in with Marquez but who knows where we will be a year from now.

Now he's just an old, little small man who Khan's promoter chose to get a legend on his record.

A year from now Marquez will likely be coming to the end of his career and if Khan continues to improve and work on his defense with Freddie he could certainly be one of those that could potentially take over.

On here people always talk about one fighter destroying another as if the gulf in class is colossal but it's just not the case.

Khan would still pose massive problems for anyone at lightweight, especially an aging Marquez who is at a clear natural size disadvantage.

Just because his punch resistence is supsect doesnt mean he's going to get blown away in 50 seconds every time he fights anyone world class.

If he can use his height, reach and speed to keep Marquez at bay and prevent him from getting off he could cause all manner of problems for Marquez a year or so from now.

Marquez isn't superman, he struggled with Jimrex Jaca and Chris John. His fights with Casamayor, Pacquaio, Barrera and Juan Diaz were all absolute wars with both Pacquaio and Barrera dropping him and Juan Diaz rocking him on occasion.

But you all assume that Khan would just lie down and be counted out after 50 seconds becuase he lost to Prescott in that manner?

Khan absolutely has the potential to beat Marquez. He has the all the physical and youth advantages, he has the speed and natural size.

If he improves under Freddie Roach then a year or so from now and he could be ready for the truly world class.

Although by then Marquez will doubtless be showing signs of slipping and even if Khan beats him he'd get no credit for it here anyways.

Fuck off Khan would beat Katsidis! Hey first to admit here that katsidis aint a great boxer nor is he the most talented. You wanna say if Earl can put Katsidis down then Khan can beat him then lets use that here and say if prescott can knock khan out then katsidis definitely can. Did you even watch the Casa fight with katsidis? Katsidis was winning that fight up until he got stopped but showed incredible heart and recovery abilities just to even come back in that fight. Is Khan more powerful than Casa? Does Khan have a better chin?

What makes anyone here think Katsidis would be beaten by Khan based on what they have seen? If anything, i think it shows that Khan would get knocked the fuck out. The barerra win proves nothing and to me he is still an outsider. Not even a contender.

Missy i definitely see your point in letting him fight JMM, complete and utter destruction. Khan would be retired after that fight, a beating to remember for sure.
