    Something just to think of...

Wilfred Benitez was actually born in the Bronx and NOT in Puerto Rico as many people believe.

He is considered Puerto Rican because he became a citizen of Puerto Rico fighting there often and living there his entire life.

......silly move by Cook when he should've bought a few seconds to recover, but well done Rocky, I look forward to watching him in the future, maybe take on Humberto Soto if he successfully defends his title later in the month
Yep,he should have definitly "run rabbit run" for a while to get the cobwebs out of his head,I dont know what he was thinking coming back in and trying to go toe to toe.I mean you ended up on the canvas for a reason, give yourself a chance to shake it off.Piss poor training really,he should have known to stay out of the killing field for a bit.

Hi CMM, what's up? Hey, let me throw my own 2 cents in there. Wilfred is 100% Puerto Rican, whether or not he was born in NY. I was born there too, but from Puerto Rican parents who happened to live in NY at the time. And there's no such thing as "Puerto Rican citizenship". Puerto Ricans, by law dating back to (I forget the year), are born with US citizenship automatically. So we're US citizens, but of Puerto Rican nationality. Sound confusing? It kind of is... many people misunderstand the exact relationship.

we're all Us citizens but technically there is such thing as Puerto Rican citizenship, although it's more symbolic and used more for political reasons (mas los independentistas que nada) you can legally change your citizenship to Puerto Rican, but doesn't really change much

I stand corrected on that one. Although it IS symbolic, and technically... what we have is U.S. citizenship. Which is why we can travel back and forth to and from the States without passports or anything like that.
