I like Froch but he should not mention Joe, he will never achieve what Joe has done. Carl has been respectful about Joe but people pick out what they want to hear.

Pascal is a good boxer, I follow him quite a lot as he heads out from Quebec, he has power and speed but his technique has to be improved; his shots are often large and a bit telegraphed. I don't know if he'll become world champion someday but he can definitely creates surprises and can definitely be considered as a top 10 of his category, time will tell us the rest.

If Calzaghe comes out to fight Froch that's only important for UK boxing, especially since I reckon JT will have bust Froch up by then. If Joe is to come out I hope its too only fight one of Dawson or Hopkins

If Froch beats Taylor, Joe just may be tempted out of retirement.

I dont think he will,i think he will think Pavlik has beat JT twice down at MW,and Froch beating him doesnt mean alot.

What we do know about Pascal is he was almost sparked out twice against Pittman who has only mediocre power. Based on that I figured Froch (who I considered to be heavy handed) would have hurt him something fierce. But that didn't happen. I thoroughly enjoyed Froch/Pascal because it was level competition, but neither guy showed the skill to hit the top level.

Getting rocked by a journeyman doesn't mean that you have a weak chin necessarily, Holyfield was almost KO'd by Bert Cooper, Ali was on the verge of losing to Henry Cooper, Cotto was rocked by De Marcus Corely, Hatton got dropped by Eamann Magee etc.

He certainly doesn't look to have a weak chin to me Froch caught him flush several times and he's knocked out plenty

My personal opinion is that I question Froch's power.

Calzaghe exposes the no defense one dimensional Carl Fraud.

Unfortunately though Bilbo, guys like Henry Cooper only counted as journeymen in the days when there was 1 title. Now he would probably be a 10 year alphabet champ or something. I also wouldn't consider Corley or Magee on the level of Pittman, who I think qualifies as more of a journeyman than any of those guys. However, I actually do think Pascal has potential, he's only about 26, hasn't really been in the wars, and I thought the judges were very harsh on him, I only had Froch winning by 115-113. I think he's got something, he just has the problem he's in a pretty stacked division now, which looks like it will only get tougher. If his body can, might be worth Pascal looking at maybe gettin down to MW.

Calzaghe would have to much speed for Froch, he would be all over him, but Froch is not worth Joe coming out of retirement.

I think if Joe comes back it will be for a rematch with Hopkins in cardiff infront of 50 thousand, that will be the only fight worth it for Joe.
