Ok this is why I had originally said we need 10 votes, I've calculated totals from Heavyweight down to Featherweight so far and there are tons of ties.
If these ties are not broken by the end of Thursday, we will have to have subsequent votes or have the managers of each division have the final say. How should we proceed?
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
You only have to rate every division once to set up our inital rankings, after that managers will only be looking afters their own divisions. Maybe if fighters are tied the one who achieved the highest rating could go ahead? We could send a PM to all the managers who still haven't voted? If anyone is stuck rating the divisions you could take a look at the Rings ratings they are pretty good, or copy & paste another managers votes & make the changes you feel are necessary. If everyone could vote on all divisions it could help break some of the ties!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
I think also the points awarding system could be restructed a little to define rankings e.g.
23 points for #1
19 points for #2
16 points for #3
14 points for #4
11 points for #5
9 points for #6
7 points for #7
5 points for #8
3 points for #9
1 point for #10
What do you guys think?

Gimmie some time Sheep. I'm out here in Bakersfield on a job. I'll post and vote in a day or 2
I did PM everyone earlier, the different point weights don't matter take for example fighter A and B
I rate A at 6th for 9 points and B at 5th for 11 points, you rank them the opposite A at 5th for 11 points and B for 9 points
the both have a value of 20 points as a tie, this is what's happening right now at a larger scale. The points system as it stands works we simply need more votes. Furthermore we need to decide if we turn ties over to the Division Manager to make the call or to revote on tie breakers.
As Galaxy mentioned this only will happen once for this initial vote then the system of fighting for rank and stripping for inactivity comes into play it will be almost automated after that. The only job for the managers is to notify the committee when something has come up in there division to vote on. Votes will occur to take fill in vacant spots in the rankings and to determine if the fight is worthy of a Title.
