Nah, Avid works on PC as well, although I'm guessin if you've got Final Cut Pro you can do the same with that. If you've only got a DVD it should be simple. What you do is capture DVD through the program (so go to the tools tab & then capture) and then put the whole thing on a timeline & either output it to DVD through writing the program, or you can output it to an mpg2 file or quicktime file. When you do this you will find a tab (sorry can't remember where without having it in front of me) which will enable you to choose your output format, so just put in NTSC. There should be plenty of boards on the net that guide you through it.
