I just saw this vid of steve bunce talking about max. Does anybody have a vid of the actually interview max was doing and what steve is talking about? It was an interview with chris john after his fight with rocky juarez. I dont remember seeing this interview.

Asked Rocky Juarez whether he felt as if he had been robbed etc all because juarez was HBOs boy despite many believing John had indeed won the fight. He was also talking as if he was suffering from some kind of word deficency that only allowed him 1 word every second.

I think we could all list a good 10-12 indiscretions this moron has thrown up in his time and he has clearly demonstrated he is completely incapable of a non-byest opinion.

Kellerman is on some uppers or something. I swear he is way too emphatic about some stuff. His eyes look like they are gonna pop outta his head sometimes.

Anyone catch when Kellerman talking to Calzaghe after BHop or RJJ. Kellerman asked him about getting off the mat in the Eubank fight years ago and Calzaghe just agreeing with him?
I was so confused. He knocked the socks off of Eubank in that first round. Had him hit the canvas in the first 15 seconds. I think Calz was not listening to him. I think he already had in his mind what he was going to say. You;d think he would correct him on that fact.

Max is not a bad color commentator and is next in line to take Jim Lampleys place for sure. Someone has to anyway because Jim is hitting 60 and Merchant is 78. And yes he does look a little high in some of the fights.

Or alternatively he was shittin himself as B-Hop got into it with him. No disrespect for that, most of the members on here would as well regardless of how 'hard' they might try to portray themselves.

I think what Bunce said on Kellerman that time was fair though, his interviews with both Chris John & Juan Diaz were disgraceful, and he definitely deserved a slap. However, I didn't think him asking Calzaghe about Dawson was out of order, let's remember Dawson isn't an HBO fighter, he's just a guy who might well become the best LHW in the world.

Also he is certainly no more disrespectful to fighters than that old fart Merchant, who gets right on fighters dicks (Oscar anyone??) and half the time cannot call a fight legitimately. Whatever people say about Kellerman, he is usually pretty good at calling fights, and his passion & honesty is good to see. I loved how he seemed like he wanted to punch up Larry after the old git tried to set up a rematch for his boy Oscar, and Max just said, anyone who even tries to score that as close as 115-113 for Floyd, he would have a serious problem with. Let's face it, he IS one of us, in a way that Merchant or Lampley never will be.
