If we're gonna start overturning outcomes, give L. Andrade and Jose Armando Santa Cruz thier wins back. Much bigger rip offs imo.

Since Don King is so noble, does it mean that all the people that bought tickets will be allowed to see the rematch as a reign check? It's never really about what is right!

ah that depends...if you only watched that fight then yes, if you watched the other fights then no or maybe only a %

I don't think there's any chance of success for King here. He's probably just doing it to help get Barrera another big fight.

It should be changed to a NC but I dont think it will . Khan will be exposed again sooner or later but the point is Barrear should still be the number 1 ranked lightweight and due to a headbutt he isnt .

The commission will never overturn it, especially because Khan was convincingly winning every rounds though it should have been stopped because of tle blood pouring. At best, he'll have a rematch in Mexico or North America but the lose on his roooooster will remain.

If you were walking down the street and you saw A guy sitting on the curb with A 3 in.gash in his head, with blood gushing out of it,like Barrera`s cut was doing,.......Would you wait 30 seconds before you were digging around in your pocket for your cell phone to call A ambulance to come and take the Guy to the Hospital?

Are we gonna overturn the fight between Kendall Holt and Ricardo Torres now? since that first round KO started with a headbutt?

But my guess is they won't overturn it. They'll have a rematch.

    And Khan will win again.

There's a difference between someone sitting on a curb and a fighter fighting in the ring. You'd react differently, it's a lot less likely to find someone with a gash like that outside of a boxing ring.

I think Barrera's team could make a good case for this being overturned. If they can prove that the cut was as bad in the first round as it was in the fifth, which I think they could then they could have the grounds for making it a no contest.

The critical point would be regarding Barrera's decision to carry on, but if he could convince the panel that the option to stop fighting wasn't properly communicated to him or his team then he would have a strong case.

Personally I'd like to see the fight voided and rematch ordered for 6 months time. Maybe Khan could have another fight in the meantime if he wants to stay busy.

I think the cut meant the result was unsatisfactory for both parties. Barrera can rightly claim referee neglect in relation to fighter safety and Khan's excellent performance has been almost completely overlooked.

Let them fight again and give Barrera the chance to prove that the cut is what beat him, and let Khan prove he was too fast, too big and too strong for Barrera at this stage in his career.

The bottom line is Barrera and his corner kept going beyond the 4th - even though they knew it was a helpless task to stem the flow of the blood.

    No point moaning now.

I remember Don King trying to get Tyson's KO overruled just over 19 years ago....

OK this one holds much more validity than that.

Khan should offer MAB a rematch in June - best way to resolve.

And yes let us in for free this time Don !
