Margarito is pathetic. You cant trust any of his wins now.
The only fight that we know for sure that he did not have loaded wraps was his fight with Mosely.
I think this type of cheating deserves a lifetime ban.

I am 100% convinced that he used the wraps against Cotto as well, it was extremely irresponsible what he did to show 0 for his opponents. I hope he gets his do punishment
Has anyone actually seen these "loaded" wraps did they drop on the floor and break the concrete! NO because so far all they have found is elements of f**king plaster "elements" what the F**K does that mean
How can we scream ban the fighter before we know what that means and see the proof
For me if they have had these wraps for weeks and all they have found is elements of plaster, it cant have been that bad if it was solid plaster pictures would be all over the place by now
This whole incident seams bullshit to me driven by Cotto fans who cant get over the fact there boy lost

Why would there be elements of plaster of paris inside the wrap?
Was the State Commission made up purely of Cotto fans?
Well , that is an a great Deception for the most of fans in Sport of Boxing , we as a fans cant allow this kind of action , i know that there are a lot of fans that are really disappointed or deception of this " Criminal " , cause i cant say his name anymore , but also might have some fans that don't believe this yet , i suggest to them that open their minds .....
To me this " Criminal " have to be condemned and banned from Sport of Boxing ...............![]()

Have you not read anything about what happened that night? Hell yes, people have seen the loaded pads. Here is what Richardson said about it.
RT-What about this plaster of Paris, or this powder they put on the hand wraps? When did all of this come into play?
NR-Some of that was people trying to take this in another direction. What happened was he had cushions that he put on his knuckles as they’re wrapping his hands. They had this on one hand already. The Commissioner checked him, but I didn’t see them (wrap the first hand). So, I asked them, I want to check that cushion. And they allowed me to check the cushion and I said, this is pretty hard. So, I asked the Deputy Commissioner to feel it, I said this is hard. He said it, "Feels alright to me." Well I said it doesn’t feel right to me. So I went to the Commissioner, he came in and checked it and said, "It’s pretty hard." Then they peeled it open and down the middle he had a square block of old gauze wrapped with plaster on it. When I took it out and let the Dr. see it he said, “This is the same stuff we use in hospitals to make casts.”
RT-Right then and there, he probably should have been arrested by the Police, let alone be allowed to go out and fight. Don’t you think?
NR-I told them I want the other hand unwrapped. They (Commission) said, “We approved this hand already. I said, so we’re supposed to wait until the fight is over and we check the hand and find out what’s on it? So the Commissioner says, “You’re right,” and they unwrapped the other hand and found another block. I refused to give the blocks to the Commissioner, I called Shane Mosley’s lawyer (Judd Burstein). So, his lawyer came over and I gave them to his lawyer because I didn’t know what the procedure was then, but I felt the same way (that the Police should have been called). I said, this sport of ours is dangerous enough when you follow the rules. Go outside the rules and it can be fatal.
The way they’re in the padding, the impact on the gloves as the rounds go on would get you closer to the plaster. So, later you would be punching harder than you were actually punching earlier.

Can you imagine if he somehow figured out how to attach broken glass (invisible broken glass) to the outside of his gloves? Two years suspension.
Seriously, people can argue whether he didn't know or whether it was the first time but there's no argument that some cheating wasn't going on. I don't know the science but Capatillo didn't accidentally knock over the jars of calcium and sulfur, that every good trainer keeps lying around, having them fall into Tony's handwraps.
Or maybe that's how it went?
Kickboxer was good but it was no bloodsport.
I was thinking of evidence a little more impartial than Richardson's opinion
This would happen with normal wraps what I want to know is how much these pads could improved his punch if at allThe way they’re in the padding, the impact on the gloves as the rounds go on would get you closer to the plaster. So, later you would be punching harder than you were actually punching earlier.

Why would they do if it didn't help?
Why would they put plaster in that only kind of helped his punching power?
Some have said they did it because of hand injuries, still cheating, still dangerous.
There's no logical defense for it now, I actually checked out two other forums (not Eastside) and were the only one actually having a debate on whether or not he was really cheating, LOL.
Cause its not a very difficult judgment once the reports come back saying that he cheated. The only defense is he didn't know.
