Okay I think Margarito's suspension is fair. I do not think that he should be banned. Now if he killed a fighter in the ring then he should have been sent to prison. After his years suspension is up and the next time he fights then he should be watched over like an eagle until his career is over. If Freddy wants to train him then so be it, who are we to determine how someone should make a living? Didn't Jack Dempsey have a glove controversy? But we call him an all time great. As of now Antonio has been caught and is paying for his misdeeds.

Isn't the point if he would killed a fighter my friend , think , it was the Intention bro..... , why we have see if he would killed a boxer ? that was premeditated , Is like if somebody get into your home and try to assaults you with a gun , but he didn't killed anybody of your home and then was arrested , do you would like to see that guy free or see him without penalty in jail ? Yes his Jack 'Doc' Kearns FORMER Manager at the time said Jack used a railroad spike in the thumb of the glove or plaster of paris vs Jess Willard but Jack never said he did any of that AND later I believe Kearns recanted his previous allegation.

Eh? You do realize that if they don't kill somebody they have a different charge to deal with? If they kill someone its murder, if they don't its home invasion & assault with a deadly weapon, but I'm pretty sure it would be 10-12 years less jailtime. That has to be one of the worst, most over the top analogies I've heard. Yes if he did do it & there's proof that he knew what was going on, then yes ban him for life, but otherwise just deal with the punishment they've given. I personally think 18 months would have been better for the evidence they've got.

Also he has been cleared for his other fights so the only thing they have on him was the last fight were he did not even use the gloves. Now people while say if he done it this time then he has done it before. Yet again brings me to this point Cotto and Cintron were the ones that were knocked out badly. Yet when you see the Clotty and Williams fights they was not a cut or any bad damge and not like they did not get hit by Margrito i think the year ban is fine and i dont have a problem with it.

Roach is a very integrity type of person, if that story is true then he must see something at least to do it for.

At the very least there will be no hand wrap situations but im guessing Roach is one of those people that wouldn't blame Margarito for what happened but his trainer and hand wrappers.

I used to like Roach but recently it seems that he is becoming more hollywood and is more concerened with his own legacy by taking big gambles that keep his name out there. He is a great trainer though.

Every boxer should be looked over like an eagle every fight. The commission guys didn't see a thing until nazim pointed it out. The inspector clouseaus didn't do their job properly. Shouldn't they be fired?

Sounds like Roach is sure he isnt. Fair play to Roach saying if its intentional then Margarito should be banned for life. But one thing is for sure, there will be no "mistakes" under Freddies supervision.

But it's gonna be hard for anyone to come back from something like this.

I think Roach might be ridiculed by some idiot knee jurk reactions but his stature in the boxing community will bring some believability to Margarito's claim of ignorance. Now that you have two promoters pitting against each other in Margarito's review to be reinstated and fingers pointing to the trainer, Margarito has a chance of getting back into the game. Only time will tell if the public is willing to forgive this guy. If it apparent that the public is not looking to string the guy up, then most likely the commission will reinstate him. I think it is reasonable to say that if Margarito can convince Roach he is ignorant that puts some doubt in many minds.

Margarito can't even spar with Pacquiao because he is suspended? I thought they only suspend you from active fighting but not sparring wouldnt it count as training.
