Roach is a very integrity type of person, if that story is true then he must see something at least to do it for.

At the very least there will be no hand wrap situations but im guessing Roach is one of those people that wouldn't blame Margarito for what happened but his trainer and hand wrappers.

If the story is true Margarito will probably be there as a sparrign partner for Pac against Hatton

I think Roach might be ridiculed by some idiot knee jurk reactions but his stature in the boxing community will bring some believability to Margarito's claim of ignorance. Now that you have two promoters pitting against each other in Margarito's review to be reinstated and fingers pointing to the trainer, Margarito has a chance of getting back into the game. Only time will tell if the public is willing to forgive this guy. If it apparent that the public is not looking to string the guy up, then most likely the commission will reinstate him. I think it is reasonable to say that if Margarito can convince Roach he is ignorant that puts some doubt in many minds.

Personally, the first thought that comes to mind, when I hear that Margarito was teary eyed explaining his story to Roach is that the guy was pleading for his career rather than portraying his integrity, but I would have to see him explain it himself before I would pass judgment on that. Without being in the commission shoes, I'd have to say that because Roach has come out and said he believes the guy that it puts doubt in my mind as to weather he truly knew or turned to his blind eye. If I were in the commissions shoes, I swear I'd put this guy through the gauntlet before I let my doubt have the better of me.

Margarito can't even spar with Pacquiao because he is suspended? I thought they only suspend you from active fighting but not sparring wouldnt it count as training.

Roach would be violating the order if he let Margarito spar with Pacquiao in California. And even if it was done outside of California, they could say he was violating the spirit of the order, so there is no way it would happen.

Roach didn't exactly ooze with confidence about believing him if you ask me. Plus at the end, he said twice that he doesn't trust anybody in boxing, so how can he trust what Margacheato was saying?

Of course Margacheato was almost in tears, the cheat got caught, and now he doesn't want to pay the price for it.

Roach said that Margacheato said that Capetillo has been wrapping his hands for 10 years, so is he expecting us to believe that he doesn't know when there is something different after 10 years? Or has he been loading them for 10 years?

I still don't, nor will I ever believe anything that piece of $hit Margacheato has to say. He knew.
