    At long last.

Hopefully both fighters make it safely through training as we don't wanna postponement.

While I believe Haye will win - I do know that this fight will be explosive whoever wins. It's a fight that will breath excitement into the division and regardless of who you support it is a great fight for the fans.

Credit to both for taking the fight - Haye for wanting to fight the No.1 in the division and Wlad for taking on a prime, dangerous voluntary defense.

    thank fuck for that

finally a heavyweight fight worthy of its billing and quite possibly the 1st major heavyweight showdown in a good 6-7 years at least.

Haye deserves every right to quite possibly go into this fight as the favourite but klitschkos record is there for all to see.

All we need now is povetkin to come through saturday without any probs then secure a fight with vitali then finally the heavyweight division will gain itself some much needed recognition.

Love him or hate him the heavyweight division needs a david haye win!!

I am looking forward to this fight but I think Haye is going to get hurt

I think all you guys are going to be heart broken when Haye gets absolutely blown out.

Interesting part of the contract, from Dan Rafael's story:

"As for the options, Boente stood firm on the request for two options in the event that Haye, who is not a mandatory challenger, wins.

"In the end, they agreed to the two options," Boente said.

That means if Haye wins, Klitschko's company, K2 Promotions, will promote his next two fights. His first defense would either be against Klitschko in an immediate rematch or a fight with Vitali Klitschko. If Haye also wins that fight, his second defense would come against the other Klitschko."

I'm glad it's finally been made. Certainly took its time!!

I will be supporting Haye because I'm not really into Wlad, but I think Big H is right. Haye will most likely get stopped. Might have his moments though.

"I'm taking this fight to save boxing. I'm doing this for Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier and all the other great, smaller heavyweights of the past.

"I feel as though I've been sent by all the great heavyweights of yesteryear to clean up and save the heavyweight division.

"I'm a man on a mission to save boxing from this Eastern European invasion of Ivan Drago clones. The clean-up operation starts with Wladimir on 20 June."

Ukrainian Wladimir, who has 52 wins and three losses, with 46 knockouts, replied: "I am used to being attacked by my opponents before a fight, but David is top of the list of crudity.

"He has to pay the price for it and I promise it will be painful."

If David Haye were a south paw he would be more competitive, but I just cant seem him getting past Wlad's jab. Everyone talks about how Haye has fast hands and power. Wlad has very fast hands too and he drops the left hook off the jab better than any heavyweight ever IMO. Wlad is way more powerful than Haye. Wlad is also patient and will wear Haye down and soften him up for 6 rounds before he drops him for good. I think lack of patience is what cost Wlad in the sanders fight, he wanted the quick knockout and got caught.

I just hope Haye's plan isnt to rush Wlad and try for the quick knockout because that didnt work for a few other ring top 10 heavyweights that tryed it. IMO Haye needs to try and box, keep Wlad moving. and not get hit for 8 rounds and see if he can get him gased in the later rounds and than try in round 8-12 to apply pressure. Haye needs to try and win some rounds in between of course.

Wlad has never been hit by someone who is that powerful and fast....

David Haye is very athletic and agile, he isint a lumbering oaf who comes forward awkwardly... Haye will press Wlad very intelligently and unnerve him.

Wlad is very weak mentally, and although i'm sure manny has given him a bit of composure, IMO Klit hasnt had a suitable retest.. I mean you could see him getting rattled by Peter who is a shit boxer but with Dynmite hands.. Haye has dynamite hands and is a good boxer to boot... Everyone else Wlad has fought, been grossly over matched before the bell sounded ... This will be the most difficult fight of Wlads career

I agree though Haye's success is hinged upon him getting around Wlads jab and getting him spooked enough to come unhinged

I support Haye and was hoping this would not come off for his sake. He is going to get battered.

haye is going to get killed. even if he pulls of a win i think he has to immediately have a rematch with wlad or fight vitaly. haye is a dead man!
