I think Povetkin is better then what was shown tonight.

I def. think the lay off had something to do with his showing.
His usual combos weren't there, wait let me say that again.

His combos were there but not as often as they usually are.
    They were apart.
He wasn't as loose as he usually is at times he showed it but then would stop.

The important thing is he closed strong and decisively.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

That is true, cause at one point I thought Povetkin would get winded 1st and Estrada would close out strong but it went the other way.

What a disappointment. It's not quite the same as the shambolic 2000 olympic gold medallist (who? British? No what, where.....never heard of him...) but it was still a poor performance from Povetkin who's own limitations were exposed as much as his opponents.

Estrada caught him with numerous right hands, one or two of which rattled him, and considering he was pretty much a non-puncher, you've got to think a hard hitter would dispatch Povetkin. Also, if Estrada himself was fitter, and would have been able to up his own workrate later on, I'd also suggest he could have claimed the win, as Povetkin was blowing by the halfway mark. Of course he's got a long layout behind him, but he'll have an awful lot of improving to do to get a world title. Either that, or he can persuade some sanctioning body to put him in with Valuev for a title.

As an aside to that main fight, did anyone see Sosnowski v Pianeta for the EBU-EU title? A minority belt no doubt, and the homeboy Italian/German got away with a very lucky drawn result, only winning four or five of the 12-round distance at most. Sosnowski worked hard, but again lacked power, but Pianeta was the typical heavyweight these days unfortunately, strong but lazy.
