Valero is a horrible fighter to watch, just horrible, but he is effective. I really don't think Valero is the monster people make him out to be. I say it's 60/40 fight in Khans favour

Second round KO for Edwin Valero. Valero is a beast.

Khan's edge would be his height and skill, speed I'd say is equal but Valero's power alone destroys the very chinny Khan.
Valero's stops Khan in less than 6 rounds!!!

I'm all for Khan V Katsidis at this point and i hope this fight happens within 6 months, then a match up with Valero makes more sense for the winner.
It's only April, no reason why both fights could not happen this year.

Khan is also big puncher. But not as hard as Valero. I think cornermen will also a big part, and Khan has better team. That's why I see it as an even match up.

Is Valero really that hard puncher like we all think he is? I mean.. One dude said it right.. If you pit Khan against those bums he fought.. He may have a perfect KO record too. Maybe not all in the 1st round, but the quality of his oppositions is just crap and it's safe to say Khan would whoop them ass.

How about Valero vs. Prescott? May serve as a good barometer for fans.

I take Khan on this one providing he sticks with the his new quick hands then cover up style. Obviously if he gets tagged by a big hitter then it's goodnight, but isn't that true of most.
I know he can look a bit wobbley but I think too much has been made of his knockout, look at Nigel Benn, some days you hit him with a hammer and he loved it , others he went over if caught just right.
I wonder what would have happened to a lot of slick fighters that were able to avoid shots if they were tagged, might be more glass jaws out there than we think

it depends, does Khan catch a lucky break following a nasty clash of heads? Then I say it goes to round 5 and gets stopped on cuts.

Are you still upset that Paulie went 12 rounds with your boyfriend Cotto and didn't get knocked out? Or maybe you're upset that Hatton gave a more dominant performance over Paulie than Cotto did? And I swear if you say it was because Cotto was weight drained and that bullshit I'm going to cry.

i'm no Cotto nuthugger, but he beat Malignaggi plenty convincingly and i'd dare say he beat him up a hell of a lot worse than Hatton did, i mean look at his face after both fights and it speaks for itself, second of all Malignaggi is a good decent fighter and should be counted as a good win on both fighter's records, but Hatton did NOT knock him out, the fight was stopped, but Hatton did NOT knock him out, corner stoppage doesn't equal KO, and on that note, look at both fighters records, who has the bigger names?

    Cotto:
Mosley (proved against Margarito he's nowhere close to finished)
    Margarito (Plaster)
Judah (aside from Tszyu, worst beating put on him)
Malignaggi (was undefeated, and left with a broken cheek)
Torres (went on to become WBO jrwelter champ beating Arnaoutis and KO'ing Holt)
Corley (seasoned veteran who aside from what he made out and a bad stoppage, wanted to quit that fight)
Quintana (was undefeated with a win over Julio, and then went on to win the WBO welterweight title with a good win over Paul Williams)
Bailey (is still a big player in the 140 division)

plus other big wins that but i wouldn't count them as big names

    Hatton:
Phillips (good win, but Phillips past his days)
Tackie (Alfonso Gomez has a win over him )
    Tszyu (biggest win hands down)
Collazo (should of been Hattons first loss)
Mayweather Jr (started well, than got dominated)
Urango (gave Hatton fits, but he regained control for a good win)
Castillo (old, and shot, the Lujan loss just verified it)
Lazcano (an old lightweight, and give him fits)
Malignaggi (a calmer Hatton won the fight pretty easily)

Be honest i would say Mosley fight could of gone ethier way and he lost to Margarito but still when i watch that fight really did fight wrong way. Because look at how well Mosley time Margarito out and if you going to go off about plaster i guess what can i say no proof he did or didnt.
