He's making a comeback isn't he? I'm sure I heard him say on Buncey's Boxing Hour that he had Hep C at the time which can give false HIV results.

You cant cure HIV so he has it. Look at Magic johnson, he has it but if you saw him it would be hard to tell. He is just taking a ton of drugs and be real shady when they try and test him. His days as a top level fighter are over anyway....He should just hang them up but he is probably broke.

Exactly, all of his 3 comeback fights were in jurisdictions that do not require HIV tests.

I think he has aids. Even after that 'false postive' stuff he claimed. Look at him, the story is in his physical appearance.

The medications for it available today can pretty much nullify the progression if you have the money to afford it.

What kind of ass backwards state doesn't test for hiv/aids before a fighter gets in the ring? A guy must be pretty fatalistic to get into the ring with him.

Last I read was that he had been given a clear reading for HIV and was staging a comeback.Also read about the Hep C and how it can cause a bad reading for HIV, he does go on about it being a conspiracy against him etc etc, he should go as public as he can to get it confirmed ...........maybe Jerry Springer could run one of those reveal the results of your test shows

And yes given he was coming back and despite being passed it , I think it's a relevant question to post.

I think he has HIV. You don't stay out of a sport that can make you serious money for a decade if you haven't got it. A fighter shouldn't be allowed to box with HIV as far as I'm concerned. It's a bit nasty.

I think medically it may be constantly disputed but sort of the talk that concludes it self.Its like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube.If he does,I wish him the best.I dont know about his early career marital status but you can forget all of the feeg jokes,this guy must of had the women as he choose & lined by the truck load back in the day.Although I could never figure out why he insisted on wearing the eye liner .Do hope he is smart about 'comeback'...has bad ending written all over it.Some of those bat tenders can punch.
