I had to laugh when I saw this.....I think Wlad is going to beat Haye down......The only chance Haye has is if he can catch Wlad off guard but that is no easy task....Otherwise Haye will take a beating WAY worse than Carl gave him.....
Haye won't take a beating, if he gets hit on the chin he'll go straight down. It wouldn't take numerous blows to knock him down. Having said that, I still think Haye will win.
YES and Haye will regret why he challenge Vlad...

He should do, once Wlad decides to follow up on the jab it could be lights out. Haye needs to be smart, but I have a hard time seeing him land clean. Wlad is such an ugly fighter these days with his jab, jab and hold style. It's dull, but methodical.
Is this the norm now, will X give X the worst beating of their career every time a fight is on?
I cant be the only one who's tired of this same thread title.
Rant over.
And yes, he will, if he doesnt, its because he's sparked out.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
He does less holding now than before....he does a hell of a lot more jabbing though I will give him that.
I think Haye should be a good match up for Wladimir. All the pressure is on Haye because he talked so much shit, everyone expects Wladimir to still be chinny and hold a lot......what would happen if Wladimir just said "Fuck It" and came out throwing bombs? I know it's not likely but hell landing 1 right cross or even THROWING 1 right cross early could get Haye thinking "I don't want to be here".
Wlad just needs to make sure he circles away from danger when Haye does decide to attack and not just go straight back. If he does that and just keeps on him with the jab Haye will be out before the championship rounds...if Haye gets hit with the right cross a number of times it'll be within 4 rounds, because once Wlad lands it, he's not going to stop throwing it
Do you really wonder about thatI mean come on, let's be serious....Haye could fight 2-3 more fights at heavyweight but with the division as it is (constantly in flux) he could run into a fighter who is just on a hot streak, one with a wierd style, or one that just has a horseshoe up his ass and lands the perfect punch a la Lewis-McCall.
David Haye SHOULD have fought one of the better heavyweight contenders to build this fight up a little more but I suppose he's going to do well money-wise despite fighting just Monte Barrett. There are a number of flawed heavyweights out there for him to fight, the problem is that some have good chins and some have good power and if he had a bad showing then he would have been forced to take another fight therefore increasing his chance of losing.
I would have rather Haye fought someone like Andrew Golota, Luan Krasniqui, or maybe Oleg Maskaev. He could have looked spectacular vs those guys and a win would have meant more to be honest.
Hayes definatly got the power to knock vlad out. But then Vlad is calculated and Haye is wild.
I cant see it going beyond 5. Haye will struggle to land his bombs because he cat get past Vlads jab, he will become wilder in his attempts to land them cuz he knows its the only way hes guna win with a knock out.
And hes just guna walk onto something big that his chin cant handle. Hope im wrong and im not saying its impossible for Haye to win either.
If he lands something big Vlad will feel it alot.
5 rounds max - but likely no more than 3
If Haye lands he wins - but thats the tricky part. Physically he's out of his depth and getting past that jab will be tough particularly as Wlad knows Haye's power is a threat and will be extra cautious.
Haye knows if he's going to win then it has to be early so will go for it and afterwards, whatever you haters think, you will all be saying fair play to the guy - regardless of outcome
Bring it
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
