Question is... Who will be Cotto's next trainer?

I go with Juanma's trainer. Since he already trained a Boxer Puncher

Cotto's base is in P.R. I dont see Cotto moving to the states to train. Cotto is hardcore Rican all the way. If I am Cotto I go with Bonilla Quintana's trainer.

I hate bonilla just for the fact that Quintana in the Cotto fight was hurt and even mentioning his trainer (Bonilla) that he was hurt, Bonilla reply to suck it up and keep fighting willing to his fighter to get seriously hurt.

ummm yea the argument was supposingly that Miguel wanted to move his training camp to Florida (state, not pueblo) sooooooo i wouldn't be surprised to see him train in the US, plus not that Cotto isn't patriotic, but he doesn't make his role in the sport a representation of Puerto Rico, throughout the whole promotion of his fight with Margarito he was annoyed with the whole Puerto Rico vs Mexico gimmick

Mayweather Snr is training Hatton, he's not gonna dedicate himself to Cotto right now, seeing how Miguel had already started his training camp for Clottey

If Evangelista landed a punch, that tells me that Miguel needs to work on tightening up his defense.

That is true, but the fact remains that he is an outstanding trainer, one that is good with the X's and O's, so to speak, inside the squared circle.

Mayweather Snr is out cause he's training Hatton, same goes for Roach, wouldn't be surprised to see him go with Felix Trinidad Snr or maybe take training off the island and go with the next logical step and try and pick the next trainer who has a lot of buzz goin for him right now, and who allows the fighter to fight their style unlike Manny does sometimes, being Richardson
Yea , seems to be a hard situation for Cotto right now , in get the ideal trainer for him , now that most of good trainers are very compromising , i consider that Emmanuel Steward , Mayweather Sr. are the ideal for him , but they are very busy right now , Freddie Roach is another good trainer in where is busy in the fight of Pac vs Hatton , another that was mentioned is Dan Birmingham trainer of Winky Wright , is important to choose the right trainer IMO each of them have their peculiarity in how to train for different fight strategy , in where Cotto had in his most of fight ............

I agree with Puya , i don't like Bonilla just as the way that he tried to exposed to Quintana when was very hurt against Cotto , he was very criticized by his act as a trainer..........

I agree with JT Rock , Mayweather Sr. is the ideal one also Emmanuel Steward...........

And who knows TheTerribleMoralez if Trinidad Sr. be Cottos trainer just for this fight , but the point is i never seen Trinidad Sr. training his son with different skills ....................

only difference that Trinidad Sr. ever did with Tito was trying to get him to use the jab more, but he did an ok job with Oquendo, can't blame Sr for that though i've always seen Oquendo as being sort of lazy most evident in his fight against Ruiz, I also believe that if Trinidad Sr. was to train Cotto it would only be for this fight

Steward might be a good choice cause he could maybe help tighten up his defense, and help improve his jab (although it doesn't need much more improvement) and also his straight right. Roach would be a good choice also, but he's not available, either way he's supposingly going with Birmingham

I can see Cotto and Tyson sitting side by side in some Anger Management Class.
