Raging Bull was strange, it had it's moments, but it kinda put me to sleep.
I guess being a boxing fan makes it harder to appreciate boxing movies. Do you guys agree?
Anyways, Hard times featuring Charles Bronson as a back alley boxer fighting for side bets during the depression was kinda cool. Here's part one. It's in English, but with English subtitles.

no idea why they did that.

...Thats the one!!!Was it James Colburn (??) as his shifty handler ??It was all bare knuckle right. That was a brutal flick.Good call, great movie!
Hard Times was first released under the name Street Fighter over here - great film
Power of One was the stephen dorff (check him out in Felon !) one which i seem to remember was quite good - but only seen it once. Gladiator another good one as said.
Apart from the obvious ones mentioned Price of Glory is not bad - Jimmy Smitts raising three sons all boxing pros, one extrememly talented the other two not so but still main contenders. Thats worth watching.
Not seen the Jon Favreu on Marciano one but may check it out
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
