Mayweather's a smart dude. He knows he's been out of the spotlight for too long. P4P lists have left him behind. So he's making noise about a comeback to stir the waters, and get his fans all riled up again. In the end, he'll slink back into retirement.

Yet bar Pac, Hatton & Cotto he probably continues to generate more threads, debates & news articles than almost any active fighters apart from the aforementioned.

True enough, a fact he's well aware of and plays like a violin.

Early on I thought he was just blowing smoke about coming back, but he's starting to pop up all over the tube here. They just aired a AT&T commercial for the desk tops and there he is.Its a spoof, hes in the ring with gloves, trunks and looks cut to shreds trying to use a keyboard wearing gloves. He still cant act though lol.Its like hes trying to get his name/face out.

    Ego.

That 3-letter word all great fighters suffer from. He's trying to get his name/face out alright. But will he "walk the walk" when it comes to facing the best out there at 147? (I doubt he'll fight either at 140 or at 154).

The mans ego over takes his skillset most of the time.Loud, brash and a yearning for the spot light. If he cant get it in the ring,or chooses not to,maybe he'll give Vince McMahon at the WWE another call.

LOL.... I forgot he'd done that. So the man's got options. He also did a stint on Dancing with the Stars. Maybe he'll try acting or singing next. Point is... I'm not entirely convinced he's willing to come back and take on the Cottos, Mosleys, or Williamses of the division.
