I hope Hennesey and co don't sell delayed rights to the BBC and tell them where to go. Buy it live or forget it.

The channels do take the pee out of Boxing and it's fans. Setanta was quick enough to use boxing to get the subscribers in when they had nothing else to offer. Itv a few years back ditched boxing for Premiership rights then when that went pearshaped they cameback.

Sky's 1st PPV was Bruno vs Tyson 2 - they tested the system out on Boxing fans and look where that got us - paying more and more often for average fights and bills.

Boxing gets decent viewing figures - always has but gets ditched at some point because greedy executives want more; and more often than not the channel comes back to boxing because good fights and fighters guarentee viewing figures.

Sky charging there subscribers extra on top to watch Khan vs the then unknown Prescott was an absolute disgrace. No channel picking up the Froch vs Taylor fight is a crime against the license fee payer.

as for Froch i think it stinks that no UK TV company has picked this up it makes me think that Setanta aint as focused on boxing as they pretend to be.

maybe it will be a last minute deal struck for a lower price because its a shame for UK boxing, Hennessy and Froch.
