I thought Watson won by a few.
I backed him, so might have been a bit bias, but feel if the fight was on a Hayemaker promotion he'd have got the decision. The house fighter nicked it without being a robbery. Par for the course.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I had him win 116-112 and I was fairly disgusted with the verdict. Fair enough it was an overall close fight and some of the rounds were hard to score, but by my scoring even giving 2 of the Watson rounds to O'Donnell youd still have a draw (and so a retaining of Watsons title).
For 2 of the 3 judges to actually award A WIN to O'Donnell, well, I was pretty pissed off. I dont really get it at all, 5 of the 6 guys on this thread had Watson winning and the 2 commentators did, Barry Mcguigan did and some ex boxer they interviewed did too, thats 9 from 10. So how do 2 from 3 judges get a different outcome? Both by 1 random point as well. Im not into saying things like fix but some verdicts in boxing really get me wondering about if they do doctor it a bit for the hometown, more popular marketable fighter sometimes if they get a chance too. I hate the whole hometown fighter getting a decision thing its such bollox.
