Craig Watson hard done by

Anyone feel he was hard done by i had him 3rounds up,i did'nt think he deserved to lose last night.

Any thoughts guys ?

I had him winning but it was a very close fight, i think Watson and his team should never have taken this fight considering he hasnt fought for a year and you could tell in the last 4 rounds ( where i think he let the fight slip) he was not ready for hard 12 round fight after such a layoff, i would of thought give him a tune up.

As for O Donnell as i thought very over rated i remember around 3 years ago this guy was the new bright new spark who was gonna be world champion, no chance average and most decent Welterweights would beat him in the UK, Jennings,Brook and Watson in a rematch.

I thought Watson won, but being away from Home doesnt help. Thought His work was Better, O,Donnel was Hitting Fresh air and elbows most of the time. Thought Watsons Jab won it for Him.

Watson's record is starting to look a bit messy already, 13-3 after that few fights suggests a guy whose not going to be going far. Didn't see the fight but I think he would struggle to beat most of the better fighters in the UK, and I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch with Matthew Hatton. O'Donnell isn't all that either, would be good to see him take on Michael Lomax, as they are both tall rangy welters, reckon Lomax would have him

I dont think Watson is any world beater but id like to see a pro in the UK with a harder first 16 fights, it is a bit messy but he has fought some good fighters, fighters that other boxers wouldnt go near until they were way more experienced:

In his 8th fight fighting the highly touted John Fewkes who was 13-0.
Then fighting Micheael Lomax in his tenth fight the guy who recently won the Welterweight prizefighter he was 10-1.
Then fighting Ali Nuumbembe in his 13th fight who was 18-2 for the commenwealth title.
Then Daniel Petrucci for the European Title in his 14th fight.
Then Matthew Hatton and John O Donnell in his next two, that is some resume for someone who has only had 16 fights.

Watson is decent british fighter, but what made me laugh on saturday night was the fact that the ITV team kept referring to him as a heavy handed banger?? Lol 3 knockouts, the way they were hyping his power you would think he was the new Julian Jackson, in reality O Donnell if anyone was more likely to get a stoppage.
