Lacy is a promoter now so do not think he would risk losing this early, he will want some easier fights.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I think Lacy has succombe to now fleshing out his final days as a prizefighter, to simply earning some wedge and for that, nobody can blame him.
I'm sure that despite folk criticising the fight, that they would actually watch this.
Personally i think that he should pick on Miranda or Bika as they could be interesting fights between big-punching, but limited boxers.
i would watch this fight
Why Why Why? You know I remember way back when, Roy Jones said he was bored with boxing and how he didn't want to get hurt after his friend Gerald Mcclellan had fallen to Nigel Benn blah blah blah. I'm so sick of this and tired of him talking about going to heavyweight. To do what Roy? The man had his chance to become 1 of the greatest if not the greatest fighter ever to lace up a pair of gloves and now he his fighting the Omar Sheikas and the Jeff Lacys of the world and has over stayed his welcome in boxing and I really hope he follows Oscars path and retires from the sport. He could have fought at Cruiserweight along time ago and ruled with an iron fist while being on the border of the heavyweights. But what does he do? He decides to go back down to a division he already conquered and fight a bum in Tarver all because he called him out. For godsakes Roy get the hell out while you can and retire already because your turning into a damn circus act.
Whats everyones problem with this fight? Negative shit all over this thread. Who else should RJJ fight and who else should Lacy fight? Is there anyone that actually would rather NOT see this fight than see it?our gonna watch it
You all know your gonna want to see it.

If they both want to continue, its better that they fight each other than a top fighter. I dont see any problem with that.
Psalm 144: Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle
Would probably watch it but think it should be a last chance saloon for both of them, I can't see either of them reaching the highest level again , Lacy would only have a chance if his confidence came back and his arm has healed, at least he would have youth on his side a bit more to keep going. Would be a shame for people to look back at RJJ and see 10+ losses on his record due to him chasing a dream.
I agree totally with what you said. As for heavyweight, if Roy had known he was going to go through this string of disasters he should have stayed at heavyweight when he won the WBA title. If he had lost in a unification fight with Klitschko it wouldn't have hurt his reputation that much. But to get wiped out by Johnson, who I might say is a fine boxer but his record isn't all that great, diminishes things. Losing to Wlad, people would have said he bit off more than he could chew. He should call it a day unless he is pulling a Julio Cesar Chavez retirement tour deal, but we all know how that ended too.
