The man had his chance to become 1 of the greatest if not the greatest fighter ever to lace up a pair of gloves and now he his fighting the Omar Sheikas and the Jeff Lacys of the world and has over stayed his welcome in boxing and I really hope he follows Oscars path and retires from the sport. He could have fought at Cruiserweight along time ago and ruled with an iron fist while being on the border of the heavyweights. But what does he do? He decides to go back down to a division he already conquered and fight a bum in Tarver all because he called him out. For godsakes Roy get the hell out while you can and retire already because your turning into a damn circus act.

I agree totally with what you said. As for heavyweight, if Roy had known he was going to go through this string of disasters he should have stayed at heavyweight when he won the WBA title. If he had lost in a unification fight with Klitschko it wouldn't have hurt his reputation that much. But to get wiped out by Johnson, who I might say is a fine boxer but his record isn't all that great, diminishes things. Losing to Wlad, people would have said he bit off more than he could chew. He should call it a day unless he is pulling a Julio Cesar Chavez retirement tour deal, but we all know how that ended too.
