The only thing Cotto has going for him is he's 28.

This guy's career is almost over. He won't psychologically ever recover from the Margarito loss. He'll never be the same. And Clottey will do to Cotto what Foreman did to Frazier.

This guy Cotto is in deep trouble. And now he's got the Nutritionist. To hear he is a spoiled baby in the gym doesn't surprise me at all. I had his juvenile number 4 years ago already. Yes he did gain a bit more boxing skill than I thought he ever would, but as we saw his stamina is in deep question, and his heart doesn't seem to be there when the going gets rough (if in doubt, please see Round 11 again, and how he took 2 knees--did Joe Frazier take any knees against Foreman? What this tells me is this NEW YOUNG GENERATION doesn't have the warrior heart that the older generations had. Cotto is no exception)

SHOUT OUT TO TITFAN AND RICAN AND ALL THE OTHER COTTO-LOVERS:

YOUR BOY IS FINISHED. HE NEVER, EVER WAS ANYTHING NEAR THE HYPE HE HAS RECEIVED.

A WILFREDO BENITEZ HE WILL NEVER BE. Fighters like Wilfredo are a dying breed.

After the Margo conviction, I have been at a loss for words for any other thread regarding him or pretty much any other subject...I think there is a small possibility that this could happen to alot of Cotto fans after the JC fight. Simply be at a loss for words after a loss.
    The key is Self-discipline.

I agree with you. Some fighters attain near-greatness, like Fernando Vargas, and then just surprisingly fold. Miguel Cotto is one of those fighters.

Speaking of "folding", hope to see you around here AFTER the Cotto-Clottey fight.

Cotto will not win the fight, Titofan. Clottey is too tough, and his guard is too tight. Cotto will expend alot of energy trying to get through. He will tire by the 7th.

Clottey by TKO in the 7th round.

Naaaaaah, I can see it going either way. Clottey beat an old Zab Judah and went to a decision with Corrales, that's it. The guy has looked strong lately so fight should be entertaining I guess. I wouldn't be shocked if he wins.

Fair enough. At least you state WHY you think Cotto will lose. And no doubt about it... Clottey IS tough. But Cotto is stronger mentally than some people give him credit for. AND... he has shown better boxing skills and adaptability than people give him credit for, also. But let's see. Definitely it will be a war. BTW, props to Cotto for taking such a tough fight as his 2nd fight after Margarito.
