Sure Donaire-Martinez looked like John-Juarez minus the knockdowns, the KO ending and the robbery ....

Yea i didn't get why people were making raul martinez a favorite over nonito donaire. Was it because Raul is undefeated? Either they didn't know how good nonito is or they didn't really know raul himself. Like i said Raul was a good handpicked oppenent for this night. nothing more.

Solis - Viloria was the real event of the night, Nonito was just there to show off really. Big ups to Viloria for knocking out a p4p fighter that has never been out before. Solis is a real champ hopefully he bounce back. Also Viloria should stay focus and punching, he can take out anybody in the division if he keeps fighting like that.

Dude your obssession with Pac is rediculous. I like him. But.....he's not pound for pound good.
    Pacquiao not P4P good??

I know that some of the Pacquiao fans are a bit over the top but to say Pacquiao is not P4P good is just ridiculous

I wouldn't say that. Donaire fought and won 9 times at batamweight, all the way up to 121, and almost of them resulted by KO. Donaire is naturally bigger than Montiel. And how many times Montiel fought above 115?

Donaire-Darchinyan rematch will never happen imo, coz Shaw is a fukking dickhead.
I don't blame Shaw. He made Donaire. He gave him his chance. For Donaire to stabbed him in the back was straight skanless coward move.
Nah. It's more like Shaw is cowardly protecting his cash cow darCHICKENyan.

    Default archie solis

    great fight

solis would have had a better chance if he would have let his own right hand go. archie was landing that right hand but he did not throw it enough.

YouTube - Brian Viloria KO Ulises Solis on a Sunday morning (April 19, 2009 - Manila Time)

Brian Viloria showed he had heart and he wanted it

the minute i heard the shot

    i said lights out

solis took some very hard shots

all the low blows being called by the announcers was bullocks

right on the beltline does not equal low blow

    great fight

gotta wonder what if... the fight had gone the distance?

i had Hawaiian Punch winning but i was not a judge.

great fight, oh i said that already.

Anyone from flyweight to bantam will have problem dealing with this kind of assault... the range and quickness is just remarkable ....

Darchinyan's no chicken, he's taken on better opposition than Donaire has since his loss to Nonito, he was huge wins over Jorge Arce and Christian Mijares

    Is Arce a huge win?

Sunday Morning April 19, 2009 (Saturday Evening April 18, 2009 in the USA)
Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines

    Nonito Donaire vs. Raul Martinez
    IBF flyweight title
    IBO flyweight title

    Ulises Solis vs. Brian Viloria
    IBF light flyweight title

    Denver Cuello vs. Hiroshi Matsumoto
    Vacant WBC International minimumweight title

looks like a decent card but sorry the name "THE FLASH AND THE FURIOUS" sounds like a gay porno title

It sounds gay to you but the fight card results is really "fast and furious"... It was rightfully named/titled...

Is pink your favorite color? Or is it lavender? You're the only one I noticed who uses pink colored text here...

it's not as big as it would have been maybe 3 years ago, but Arce was still on a roll following his loss to Mijares

the name is corny dude seriously, it was a good fight card and IMO Solis/Viloria stole the show by a long shot, and the pink was just for the purpose of what i said, the name for the Pacquiao/Hatton fight is rather lame as well
