Fury is a hype job, simple as. He bragged he beat a 20-2 fighter or whatever his record is in his 3rd fight, yet when you look at that fighter real close and he's fought nothing but bums. Just like Fury has. David Price destroyed and floored him when they met in the amateurs. Then Fury has the cheek to offer Price a fight on 11 days notice (When he never had Swaby lined up) and then when Price rightfully rejects, starts calling him a fraud and how he ducked him LOL. He's shown me nothing good whatsoever. His defense is garbage and his chin aint been tested yet. He's a disaster waiting to happen, and it will happen soon enough.
I think it's possible that losing sooner rather than later might humble him and force him to train harder. But whilst he's facing journeymen that's not gonna happen.
Hard to say whether he'd beat Price or not. I've only seen Price fight once and he looked kinda dodgy, but it could just be jitters as he's only just starting out.
My gut feeling says Tyson would get further than Price, maybe not just on ability but on the hype he's gathered. A fighter who promotes himself well and gets himself talked about goes further than a quiet fighter, and like Fury or not, he's good at getting attention.
