I know, I know, but let's say he signs to fight Cotto in some neutral country or Mosley (again) in Mexico. Would you pay to see that?

If he fought one of those guys I'd watch (but not pay), I really hope none of the top guys give him the time of day. He doesn't deserve to make anymore money of this sport! His legacy is tarnished, every one of his wins are now tainted!!!

We would all love to see a rematch with Cotto...its a hard one!!

My morals say no,but my love of a good scrap says yes but a worldwide ban would would put pay to that as an option!

The thing for me is that I do not believe it is the 1st time Margarito has done this. Why all of a sudden would he want to use illegal hand wraps when he was so heavily favored? I hope he fades away altogether!

Ive been mute on this for the longest.Seeing a favorite get decapitated and brutally KO'd is one thing, but the aftermath and all of the drama just guts a guy.Galaxy man,I honestly dont have the answers. And Im not going to pretend to be a soothsayer and read tea leaves as to who knew what and when they knew it.Nor a mason or scientist specializing in chemical compounds. What I know for fact is that they found some sort of insert used in 'training pads',square pad wrapped inside of Tonys glove leading into the Mosley fight.Ive seen Mosley state that he felt and observed the pad and it appeared 'normal',Ive seen his Doctor say that it had flakes on it and seemed hard.Bottom line is the Commission held its hearing, concluded that he and camp were in the wrong and rendered a punishment. What ever the case and what ever it was......It should not have been there!!I have zero proof that he was 'dirty' in any other fights. He walked around, glad handing and hiding nothing after the Cotto win,all the while his wraps in plain view.He pelted Williams and Clottey with equally hard shots and they showed no facial trauma.Cotto showed plenty on the other hand.........people will and have drawn own conclussions off of his dealing in last fight, and you honestly cannot blame them.He and his corner have to live with the aftermath with no pity expected.Ive been a huge fan for a long while and say with the risk of a scarlet letter here , I cannot just throw a fighter and his past away all together. But directly or indirectly, his actions have blemished the sport, frankly the dumb son a b!!!ch made his bed and now has to live with his deeds, serves them right.Shite....I feel like cybil.Topic beaten into the ground frankly.

I must admit, with the quality of private streams now being so high (I'm talking subscription ones for around $10 month) I can't understand why any net savvy person would buy a PPV?

You can support the fighters I guess but if they are big enough to be on PPV they are already far better off than all of us and in some case multi millionaires so they can do without our dough.

I hate PPV I think its wrong by principle, you pay a subscription for a tv network they should pay for the fight out of the sub money.

There's too much greed in sport with people (not just boxing) wanting to earn millions and millions. Same with the film industry.

I really want to see him fight Cotto again. If Arum can negotiate Margarito through his ban and give him a tuneup to make him look a credible opponent again then a Cotto rematch would be huge. It would bring huge publicity to boxing for all the wrong reasons but it'd make a ton of money, something Arum won't have overlooked. There's a hell of a story to sell, a big hook to bring the punters in and get them ordering the PPV. No matter what Margarito, Cotto or Arum say publicly over the next year about whether it could happen I'm sure it will barring something going wrong, there's just too much potential money to be hoovered up for it not to happen. I think Cotto wins too.

Yeah,Im stuck within my evolution. Also the last thing I'll ever be accused of being is net savvy, have been playing catch up for what seems forever.Up until 3 years ago,I had never run a stream for a fight.Still rebuilding.PPV is a def drain on the funds and am pretty picky these days, maybe one every two months.I just have never liked watching fights on a desk top.....stuck in the past I suppose. It really is an entirely different world up on a huge flat screen, speakers blaring at full tilt,.....except when Lampley is on,then the mute button becomes essential.Using more and more streams as we can find them.Your right, quality is much better as of late.............BTW anyone with a stream for the Antillon fight on Friday night, please wrap it up,would be a great gift .

Absolutely not!! Only way I'd pay to see him fight is if he was in a coliseum fighting lions with a knife
