I read a column about him a few years ago, and I agree 100% with the quote.

"If Floyd played his cards right, he would have been near the Ray Leonard realm of popularity right now. Instead, hes about as beloved as Ray Lewis."
I dont think his out of ring popularity really bothers him... He has made a shiitload of money and has had tremendous success.

I have followed Ray Lewis his whole career albeit cleared of murder charges I think no matter how he was outside of football, the thing that I will always remember about him, is that he was probably the best middle linebacker to ever play the game or at least in the top 3
Ray Lewis became a great icon and man in and out of the arena. Floyd is no Ray Lewis, Ray matured and preach positive things to his surroundings. He doesnt go around and talk about how much money he is making or bullshiting. There is no comparison between the two.

    Filthy Rich Records is his.
    He's the CEO/Owner/VP...
It's his record label which has yet to produce any talent or any hits.

The problem with Floyd is he's just not very charismatic, he doesn't interview well, none of that, he thinks being "flashy" makes up for it but it doesn't really. Great fighter though and he's obviously made enough money anway.

I fail to see the correlation... Beanflicker drew the comparison, I simply stated whatever Ray lewis says outside the football field dosent mean a bag of shit to me... he'll always be remembered as a 1 of the top 3 middle linebackers ever to play the game as far as I am concerned.

Hope I cleared up any confusion

I reckon Floyd is even in the little league compared to Naseem Hamed money wise, Hamed was everywhere for Addidas and really no one compares to Tysson for commercial success.

No one knows who Floyd is, people still know the name Tyson, mention Mayweather and people say "who" hes only ever been viable as a pay per view event when the opponent was the attraction, Gatti was his first pay per view and that was because of Gatti.

Advertisers arent going to pay money for a personality that isnt known and you have to have a personality to start with, when he stops acting like a horrible little cuunt people might give a shiit, the only reason he wants to comeback now is because Manny has got a little more well known and he thinks he can get a bit of fame rubbing off on to him, his attempt to win Hattons fans didnt work
I forgot to mention Naseem Hamed, you're right. And also, didn't Hamed invest in oil as well? So it’s a bit ridiculous to even call himself "Money".
Imagine if he was a bit more charismatic. We would probably see him in Gatorade ads, Nike, XBox360, Play Station, Nintendo, etc. etc. It would totally benefit him.

The $110 Manny Pacquiao Air Trainer (Nike Trainer 1) will be available Saturday morning in the US.

Those things are sweet, I'd def. drop some cash on those.

Also a few months ago maybe longer these special edition shoes.
The "Kid Azteca" shoes Kid is Mexican boxing legend Luis Villanueva Paramo.

It's really nice to have a collection of these limited edition shoes...

PAC's Nike shoes has the Manny Pacquiao (MP) logo at the heel of the shoe...

Forget Mick... Maybe this former US president also bought PACMAN underwear...

Manny Pacquiao (right), boxing's No. 1 attraction and pound for pound kingpin, met with former President Bill Clinton last night at the Four Seasons Hotel at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. President Clinton wanted to personally wish Pacman good luck before he challenges junior welterweight champion Ricky Hatton.
