I maintain that it's 50:50 to those that know boxing.

Personally, I push it a little more towards Hatton.
Here's one poll from ESPN just for statistics purposes... There were 8,000 plus votes cast tho it's not sure if all that voted know boxing...

Here's another poll in a US-based boxing site with almost 25,000 people who voted...

    .
That's biased as hell. ESPN and a "US" boxing site of course there gonna vote for Pacquiao.

That would be like me posting 2 poll's on a European forum and of course Hatton will get more votes there. It's basic common sense.

ESPN, US, Americans being biased?? I think they're supposed to be neutral...

Lot of flips in the US, besides Pacquiao is more supported and well known in the US than Hatton.

Pac is known by a lot of armchair fans as the lightning little man who beat up the "legend" DLH. That's not how I see him obviously, but then I am not the general public.

Those polls reflect opinions, but we don't know who these people are nor what their boxing knowledge is.

I have no hesitation in saying that the general public is stupid and that people who give Hatton 1% chance of winning are certifiable. That is all.

Unlike Ricky, at least that little man didn't avoid DLH.

I picked Pac over DLH and Mosley over Margarito.

Oh piss off. Your little man lost to Marquez twice and then ran away from another fight because he wanted to cash out for a year against fallen or mediocre fighters.

Pac knows he lost to Marquez and wouldn't give an immediate rematch. That is my definition of avoidance.

Nah. It's more like the first one was a draw, and the second was a razor thin win for Pac. You can make up anything you want, but the record book won't lie. Actually, it was Marquez the one who avoided Pac for almost 4 years. Marquez turned down a rematch with Pac and had to trouble to Indonesia to get his butt robbed for a peanut - FACT.

Don't be a eager beaver. Pac-JMM 3 will happen sometime next year. Pac is just too busy right now.

They were both close fights. No fighter embarrassed the other terribly. The first fight I don't feel so strongly about, but the second fight was very unfair on Marquez.

Unfortunately record books often lie in boxing. That's one of the tough things about being a boxing fan.

Hopefully after Hatton gets his win, Manny will give Marquez his rematch.
