They both trained hard for this fight. Pacquiao won't weight more than 146 most likely around 144 after tipping the scale at 138. He tipped the sale for De la Hoya at 145 and 148.5 fight night. I'm not so sure about Hatton, He says 6 lbs is optimum but touts he'll come in heavy. I don't think he'll load up more the 150. If he's able to stay calm he'll get close to 150. If he is more nervous, I think he'll come in less than 148. I think if he tries to make an advantage out of the weight by loading up more than 150, he'll be to slow and it's too big of a tell that he's going for an early knock out.
Just my opinion.
My prediction, Pacquiao gets control of the fight by the end of the 5th, and he wins the fight by the 8th round. The fight starts out a little timid, but we see serious blows by the end of the first round. Hatton abandon's his jab by the 4th round with Mayweather shouting use your jab..... this is predicated by Hatton coming in at no more than 148, he comes in more than that it's anyone's fight to lose in the first 5 rounds of slug fest.

oh I'm sorry Mr. Nice Guy...just got carried away...I just don't want how hatton fanbois predicted the outcome of the fight...They should have not underestimated our man Pacman. I'm not trying to be the bad guy here but I'm sure if the fight turned out the other way, pro hattons will be dissing us more like they have dissed us before the fight.![]()
They're okay except for some few posters here who are consistently antagonistic towards all pac fans.
Just behave and you'll learn to like the people here. A little debate is good but don't do personal attacks.
Thank you for refraining yourself. Hope we don't see some haughty posts from you in other threads. Let's stay humble in victory.![]()

Thanks for replying there bruce. Unfortunately I cannot be online 24 hours a day because I have to sleep and work and write.
As if I would be hiding from anybody, pac-u.
I was online for most of yesterday afternoon and I've let my feelings been known. I have given Manny his credit and said well done to all the Pac fans. Before a fight, us fans like to build it up and get excited about it and that's what I did. I have done it before and I will do it again. It's just the way I am. I got it wrong and yes people have a right to laugh at me for getting it wrong in such a devastating manner.
There is no need to call me stupid and saying I'm hiding behind my Mum though because that is not the case. I am always here win or lose. In defeat I take my licks.
Pac u,
Its good you acknowledged your mistake. Miles did give props to Manny right after the fight.
I guess everyone realizes that Hatton is a very good fighter. Pacquiao was just a better fighter that night. I hope Ricky recovers the same way Manny recovered after the Morales defeat.
The question is if Manny is that good. Let me paraphrase what Hopkins said days before the fight. "Manny is in the zone and has that aura of being unbeatable". Roach said that this was the best training for a fight that Manny has ever had. If the fight with Mayweather happens very soon, I sincerely beleive that Manny will pull it of..but only at 140 (maybe 144). I have been a reserved pacfan for many years now. Admittedly, he does not look polished. But that is the thing...you can only say that from an observers point of view. Once you are in the ring with him, it is a different thing. Marquez is probably one of the most polished boxers out there, but even he had a difficult time with Manny. Manny is just different...one of a kind...Roach knows this and I believe him.
