Hatton looks serious, nothing more nothing less. Stop reading into things, just for the sake of it. Hatton always looks like this.

So much for your theory Pac putting on signifigant muscle mass for this fight his physique is probably the most unimpressive we seen in a while by Pac standards

It may not be that impressive to look at but I think it's the most conditioned... This time around, PAC doesn't need to drain his body that much...

Im not hating on pac... to the contrary I have always admired his physique for being one of the most defined I have seen with dead on conditioning and lean explosive muscle... He usually looks like a coil spring ready to explode.. this time around I dont see that especially if he is going to with stand Hatton's repeated brutal body punching...

People like to down Hatton for getting KO'd by Floyd... Remeber though, Floyd has a superb chin and took a few flush chin shots as well as repeated bodyshots... If pac being the man moving up in weight dosent have a solid trunk and core he will be tired early on by geting ripped to the body.

Pac will be hurt and staggered by Hatton and will be tested like he's never been tested before..

Pac dosent have Floyds defense or mean dirty streak using elbows and hitting out of the break to keep Ricky in check. That boy has an 8 cylinder motor with about 400hp of straightforward agression that wont let off of the gas

This is just PAC's physique when fighting at higher weights... You're just getting used to PAC being drained at weigh-in... Photo below taken during PAC-Hoya weigh-in...

PAC put his body in heavy testing during training with the likes of Antillon, Linares, Alvarado, etc. PAC's body is ready and fully tested...

PAC doesn't have Floyd's defense but PAC has great speed and can quickly evade any attacks... On the other hand, Floyd doesn't have PAC's explosive offense... Hatton being knockout by a checkhook which is not really considered a power punch... Hatton's chin is really questionable...

His offense is like a fine surgeon carving up a patient, his accuracey is stunning and has consistently posted one of most prolific compubox connect percentages....

So he might not wing a bunch of punches hoping to connect, whenever he throws, he usually lands clean and damaging

JMM broke pac up at 130-135... Imagine what a haunt like Hatton will do.. Pac isint fighting faded stars like Barrera 2 or Morales2-3 or scrubs like Diaz.. JMM drew with him after getting KD 3 times and lost by a gift in there 2nd fight.. The pac hype train is going to get derailed by slick Rick the Hitman

I disagree. He took flush shots from Tszyu, Urango, Collazo, and was never stopped (though he was badly hurt by Collazo). Mayweather tattoo'd him all night before stopping him. He was buzzed by Lazcano, but fighters get buzzed all the time and he was never badly hurt.

It wasn't the power of the check hook that dropped him (he was not knocked out by it), it was the fact that he never saw it coming.

OK, I'll credit the KO to the ringpost instead of PBF's not so powerful checkhook...

I'm afraid Hatton needs to be alert at all times... PAC is known to throw punches in bunches from all angles... Opponents usually accepted after the fight that PAC is so fast and they didn't see those punches coming...

Manny should be alert at all times too. He hasn't stopped anyone properly above 135, and he hasn't taken a punch above 130....

    Final thoughts:

"I'm the bigger and stronger guy..."
    - Remains to be seen but to add, bigger and stronger doesn't always win fights...

"This is my house, I'm unbeatable at 140..."
    - No one is unbeatable...

"People were reading too much on Manny's last fight..."
    - Team Hatton was also reading too much in that fight. All they saw was a punching bag in Hoya... Big mistake...

Bigger and stronger is a plus.

He's pretty good at the weight, and that kind of mind view can only be a plus.

People are reading too much into Manny's last fight. And that will show in this one.

From losing to Marquez to destroying Oscar. It was the same Manny Pac in both of those fights. He's beatable.

who you trying to convince miles, us or yourself? lol

kidding aside, i believe hatton will bring his a-game to this fight and will give pac something to think about in the early rounds. that's why he has to connect and put some damage to manny while he can coz i can see him being clocked time and again. it will be rough and tumble in the early goings but once pac starts to connect on a regular basis, i think hatton will throw caution to the wind and forget all sr. has taught him and reverts to his former style. this is where it gets interesting. he could either catch pac with some good ones, especially to the body but team pac has trained well for that and will have to receive several of it to take its toll. pacquiao, imo has grown into this division and can take heavier blows since he willingly lets his bigger sparring mates hit him from time to time without flinching. i don't think ricky can catch manny enough and i think he'll get stopped between the 6th and 9th round either from a punch that he wouldn't be able to see or due to cuts.
