I think if Ricky was to win (which he won't) that everything between him and Mayweather Sr. would be fine and dandy as they would both stand to make more money.....I'm not sure against who though, maybe JMM or a rematch vs Pac or maybe a fight vs Demetrius Hopkins or someone knew could draw some intrest.

In the end I think Floyd Sr. wants to manage FLOYD and anyone who isn't as good as Floyd or as popular/infamous as Floyd he's going to half ass train, IMO. He's jealous of Roger, he's jealous of Floyd, and he's probably none too thrilled about Ricky's more playful nature in camp.

If Ricky switches trainers again it's not going to be good at all because he's either going to Roach or maybe McGirt and both of those guys are a little overrated IMO.

I wish Ricky could have made the jump to 147 better than he did, that way we would have had the fight vs Cotto which would have been wonderful
How can you say that Roach is overrated? 3 times trainer of the year (considering his number of years as a trainer in the business, it,s awesome), many world champions under his belt, he's definitely not overrated. As for McGirt (which I am absolutely not keen on), where do you pull out that EITHER Roach or McGirt are to train Ricky? Any references or it just comes out from your mind?

I just think Freddy is given too much credit for the skill that James Toney and Manny Pacquiao naturally have.

I just brought Buddy up because of Arturo Gatti, a similar fighter to Hatton and if Ricky wanted to learn how to box and he was getting rid of Mayweather Sr. then Buddy McGirt would be an obvious choice.
