    Brilliant Messi...

Ray Hudson - Messi, it's wonderful. Even the crickets in the tree love him.

    Gotta love Ray.

Well it looks like were done.

Messi is almost superhuman... you just can't believe a player can be that good, but you know he is because it is happening right before your very eyes. Best I have seen since prime Zidane!

    Pique scores a sloppy goal.

    Mate I have to disagree.

Because to say the best "since" Zizou you are leaving Ronaldo out.
    (Ronaldo de Lima/El Fenomeno)

I believe at this stage in Messis career Ronaldo is better but I have no doubt that Messi has soooo much to give and accomplish.

That's why I said prime Zidane.
Prime Zidane peaked later than Ronaldo peaked in my opinion, but I agree with your praise of Fenomeno! He was a special player and one of, if not the greatest out and out striker I have seen.
Actually, another Brazilian grabbed my attention when thinking of great players since Zidane. I mean, of course, Kaka! Now there is a player you can throw in to the debate too.

    Spot on Oggie.

I remember years ago there was a debate of who was better.
Aimar or Kaka, I think we know the answer to that.

Haha, Aimar was good, but Kaka is a different class.
Remember Kaka against Manchester United two years ago at Old Trafford in the Champions League? Talk about rising to the occasion!
Of course, Ronaldo (Brazilian) had one of those magical games at Old Trafford too when he scored that sensational hat-trick and got a standing ovation from even the United fans upon being subsituted. That was an incredible performance!

Messi was alone last season at Old Trafford and was not good enough.

Barcelona are some team. The season before last and this season they've played football on another level to everybody else. I haven't seen football played this well since the Brazil 1982 team.

Barca were frightening ! I wached it in the pub with the sound off and people were just watching in silence looking at greatness, was fooking surreal

If Barca hit top gear against chelsea for 10 minutes then they can do anything ! The hard work of Xavi,Messi,Henry and Inuquesta ( that's not how you spell his name .) I've never seen anything like it .

I hope it's a Man United - Barca final , imagine those 2 teams caught in the headlights going punch for punch United in top gear playing at their high tempo and Barca countering

Messi is top dog in the world followed a close second by Darren Fletcher.

Madrid need to stop with the yearly presidential elections. The various candidates promise to buy this star or that star, spend all the club's money on two or three guys and forget about the rest of the team. They were supposed to have stopped doing that after the galacticos era showed them it doesn't work but they're still doing it. They need a bit of stability and long term planning, not just buying a big name to get elected every twelve months.

Iker has been making some outstanding blocks.
    You support 2 teams?

He supports AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund as well if I'm not mistaken.
