Embarrassment shouldn't even enter the equation, tbh. If a guy is seriously hurt you should surely go to his aid - even if you don't particularly like the guy. It's hard to fake compassion for some you dislike. Mayweather was his trainer. Not his wife. He was paid to train him. He wasn't around him just cuz he liked him. I think Mayweather was just fukking mad that he pretty much wasted his time trying to train Hatton. Cuz Hatton did nothing right.

And Mayweather saying Hatton should retire is a form of caring. He's pretty much saying stop fighting before you get hurt. It's the best you going to get from him
