If he fights on i'll back anyone to KO him.
He'll never recover mentally from that loss. Ever.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
A knockout like that changes everything. It is worrying...the Floyd ringpost KO, Lazcano rocking him twice, and now this to top it all off. It's a worrying trend. He seems to be taking the punches harder and harder, it's all well and good getting stopped and getting up again. But to be laid there for several minutes is too much.
He has no reason to fight and what's the worth of a belt when he's held belts already. He aimed for the stars and fell short, no shame in it at all. I don't think he will care too much about paper belts now.
I wouldn't begrudge him a farewell fight, but would rather he retired.
He shouldn't retire....sure it was a BIG KO but hell he has only lost to 2 #1 P4P fighters, is that so bad
I am sure Hatton will want to at least have a fight in England and win and then hang up the gloves.
Retiring is a possibility. Another would be: Take 6 months off BUT... in the meantime, find a good trainer that cares about you and practice some special drills for 2-3 extra months with him (not including the real training for a fight) to have time to absorb a couple of new defense wizardry tricks, one cannot change his style in one fight but can definitely adjust if he's conditioned to do so by practicing a lot before a fight and before the 6-12 weeks camp before the official "fight".

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
have thought about this some more overnight - his career deserves a farewell fight over here for sure so am all for that now.
As for an opponent thats a tough one - Khan, Witter ? I am just not sure
As I've said I don't want Khan to beat him and Ricky will find it tough mentally.
I know what you're saying Otley about him being able to live with most but the elite - but that's the thing, Hatton wants to be in the elite and he won't like fighting in a lower echelon (check out the big words from TKO) to them as he knows he has been unable to join them.
Home farewell it should be
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
I think he could get stopped by all three of those guys mentioned, he had a bit of a growing chin problem as it was before Saturday night, Lazcano was a red flag is there ever was one and Malignaggi was really the perfect opponent.
I can't imagine a worse way for Ricky to end his career than getting stopped by Junior Witter. Of course that fight would never happen I'm sure. If anybody I guess Khan would be the best option.
if he's able to overcome the KO mentally than i think he can go on to win another title, but honestly i doubt he will, and after Saturday i have zero interest in a Cotto Vs Hatton fight anymore
