I don't think we'll see Ricky in the ring again.

but i would like to see him get back with Billy Graham and take on Witter in a fairwell fight in the UK then retire

dream end for him and his fans IF he wins

That's a bit harsh....2 losses to 2 #1 P4P fighters and all of a sudden Hatton is "one dimensional" and "a front runner".

Ricky got knocked cold but it was by arguably the BEST fighter in the sport today.

Nobody else at 140 has PBF/Manny's speed and power....I think Ricky is a title holder at 140, he could beat most of the young guys out there, he just isn't going to beat the tourists who are just passing through the division.

I think he'd beat a lot of the guys at 140

The problem is Hatton never fought the best challenges at 140 yet claimed he was the best in the division. The win over Tzyu was fantastic he fought the two P4P number one fighters and on both occasions showed that he was unable to changes his style when dealing with adversity.

He fought fighters like Maussa, Lascano and malinaggi (Good skill, no power, little threat) when he had challenges from more capable fighters like Bradley, Witter, Holt, Torres! Hatton's camp (Not Hatton) did not want to risk him losing against anything over than the best as if you lose to the best your status diminishes very little. Hatton never fought the best at 140 bar a past his best Kosta and so I have little respect for his acomplishments or ability. And I am from the UK.

the only thing that comments like that do is downplay Hatton's win, IMO Ricky Hatton is easily a top 5 best 140 lb'er ever

I'd probably put quite a few others before Hatton aswell , i.e Antonio Cervantes, Tony Canzoneri & Wilfred Benitez

Amir Khan is no lock to win a belt either. And time will show he's another over rated UK fighter. Outside of the Kostya win Hatton lost to Pac, PBF which is nothing to be ashamed of . However, the way he got blown out by both is comical.

His big wins: * Over a nonserious overweight Jose Luis Castillo. * Over light hitting Paul Malignaggi * Over light hitting Juan Lazcano * Over a one dimensional Juan Urango * Over Luis Collazo (which I felt he lost) * Over tough career journeymen Vince Philips and Ben Tackie * and the rest are a bunch of British fags he smoked ......

Give me a break what kinda F@##$%^^%^ S$% are you Brits smoking ?

The guy never even fought tough caliber fighters outside of the two that embarrassed him on a global stage. There are others that would have done the same but his fake legacy was manufactured !!! What pisses me off is that Pac huggers see this as a great feat ! Just hope JMM somehow manages to beat PBF then he will be the clear #1 P4P champ. Pac is now the catch weight, JMM running, geezer beating champ ! Thx to his retarded trainer Roach who wants to continue riding Pac's coat tails while not developing any other champions. Roach hit the lottery with Pac !!!!

What's with all this "Brit" stuff?

Along with the Brit "fags," Hatton has smoked plenty of American, South American and European "fags" too.

The Ring magazine, an American publication, have had Hatton as their 140 champion and P4P rated (on-and-off) since 2005.

HBO, an American broadcaster, have paid millions for him to fight on their network.

So what kind of shit are your American boxing experts smoking?

    Silly boy.

Hatton just needs to fight a couple of average to good fighters and if he wins he will be getting his buzz back. Hatton is still a great fight, he may'be past his prime, but he can still dominate the Junior Welterweight division. I figure if Hatton fights Bradley Hatton stops him in about 8 or 9 rounds.

I dont see that happening, Not saying Hatton could or could not beat Bradley but a stoppage no I don't se it.

Bradley is in fantastic shape, he takes a hell of a shot, Holt hits a hell of a lot harder then Hatton and he could not KO Bradley...Hell the knockdown was only a flash, Tim was up at 3

i honestly think ricky can come back and i really don't believe his chin is that shot. i mean he took some real badass shots from pac and kept coming and his eyes were still clear, except of course for that last one he took. look at roberto duran, he fought on after the hearns debacle and even won another world title from barkley.

HBO, an American broadcaster, have paid millions for him to fight on their network. If money can be made one's mother can be hyped !!! British fans spend MONEY !!!!!!

So what kind of shit are your American boxing experts smoking? Brits !!!!!! Love watching British Circus acts in title fights...... They always seem to bet blasted out of cannons !!

    Silly boy.
Which American, South American of merit did he smoke? Taxi drivers do not count !!
