I switched the TV straight off.
I remember grown men crying into their mate's arms when England got ejected from Europeans and World cups .
Argentina in 98 and Euro 96 in my town centre was like a war zone.
Remember seeing so many Police, little Chavs smashing shop windows ,fights everywhere and the older more beefy looking males the one's you didnt want causing trouble either crying like big girls or just sitting in Shop doorways quiet with their bottles of beer .
Remember the long walk home when Naz lost and walking home from the Pub when Mayweather beat our boy , it had been so pro Hatton and then just turned very spiteful!
No need to hide man. Be proud of Ricky. For his style of fighting, look at how much he has achieved. We went farther than 99.9% would only dream of.
He said he was devastated in the tv interview, but he sure didn't look devastated. Hot future wife, beautiful home and expendable income for life. I bet nearly anyone would love to be Ricky hatton right now!hehe
The big boys are being beastly on boxing talk I need to find my happy place ..............
.........before reality takes hold and violently shakes and slaps me .
things are never goonnna be the same again .
I don't what he'll do but no matter when he'll decide to step out, I will always remember him as the guy who's ego wasn't oversize and which pride and glory didn'T blind him from the real things in life, he deserves tons of respect, no matter how bad was his match up against the pacman.
