I think JMM will be a great farewell fight if he loses to Floyd.
Although he might not win and go out on a loss it could turn out to be somethin in the lines of Pac-JMM 2?

Getting knocked out like that makes me worry about fighting any puncher now. He's been knocked out or hurt in 3 of his last 4 fights. And he was hurt each time by fighters who have started out in smaller divisions. It doesn't bode well for him. Before the Manny fight I thought a Marquez fight might be fairly straightforward for Hatton but now it worries me a lot.
It's amazing how two rounds can make you totally reevaluate a fighter. I'm undecided.

I know how you feel if Hatton will face another big puncher so I included 3 punchers in the list (Valero, Prescott and Ortiz... Valero and Ortiz are southpaws too) just to gauge this feeling lingering right now on Hatton fans...
Those who will vote on any of these 3 punchers might be a Hatton hater(joke)
.
I want Hatton to fight this dude Cesar Rene Cuenca. This guy is a 140 fight and he is undefeated (even if it is fighting a bunch of bums) his record is 36-0 and he only has 1 KO victory. It would be an easy win for Hatton at 140 and he would go out on top and look good.
I agree with miles. It really is amazing after the great body of work Hatton has put up through out the years and how 2 rounds quickly changes things.

I don't care. As long as Hatton gets laid out. And it has to be another high-light reel knock out like his first 2.
Junior Witter been reported to face Devon Alexander for the vacant WBC 140 lbs. title recently stripped from Timothy Bradley... If Witter defeats Alexander, I want Hatton to give Witter a shot in this farewell fight so that Hatton could probably retire as a 140 lbs. champion...
.
Victor Ortiz so he can KO Hatton in the 1st round too and show Pac's Ko was no special feat over an overated unskilled fighter. And set the roads to an Ortiz vs Pac match

I vote for Witter, it's got the storyline already and it's a fight Hatton can win. JMM is far too technical and too good of a counterpuncher. Katsidis would be second choice, should be exciting.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

If it's a farewell I would say Witter just to give him what he's been screaming about for years and hopefully see him smacked. Hatton could generate enough interest to have a big arena fight in the UK that might generate a fair bit of cash.
No way Freddie is letting Khan near him anytime soon despite what his man did to Hatton. Ricky would bomb him out in two.
Second choice would be a ding dong with Katsidis.
Risky old business trying to chase going out on a win and still look competitive, you could end up with the scenario of two or three straight losses chasing a fairytale goodbye.![]()
