Hatton lost because of this style.
Bringing in Floyd Sr. to train him meant nothing.

In the end Hatton came out his own way and did nothing that was taught to him.

Hatton lost because of his trademark style which is come forward.
You wont beat Pac that way, Pac will and has KO'd all of his opponents who decide to trade with him and fight this way.

Now take fighters who box, counter and use the entire ring and he has problems with them see JMM fight, Erik fight. The way to beat Pac is to box that has been proven by both JMM & Erik.

Correct, Marquez is the blueprint on how to beat Pacquiao, i don't think Pacman wants to fight Marquez again. We would all love to see a third fight but i doubt it will happen. Hatton fought a dumb fight and saw the door closing but kept on walking right into it! He showed little respect and did little homework on his opponent, all he had to do was watch the first two Pac V Marquez fights and he might have learnt something. I can't wait to see how Mayweather handles him.

You know, when I think about Pacquiao vs Mayweather I get the same feeling I had when Trinidad was about to fight Hopkins.

Trinidad was blasting people out and had only one truly bad performance against Oscar that showed a blueprint how to beat him but no one decided to take advantage of it till he faced someone that was better and could execute that gameplan much better. Mayweather is Pacquiao's Hopkins

While I be hoping that your comparison is right, the one I d be worried about is pacman being mayweather's duran...as in duran leonard I..

I want to go out on a limb and say PBF gets dropped for the first legit knockdown of his career...but I think it will come against JMM and not pac...

I don't think Pacquiao will start talking trash about Mayweather's family and piss Mayweather off enough to make him stand and trade.

How CAN you insult Mayweather's family anyway? The conversation would go like this

    Pacquiao: Your dad's a prick!!

    Mayweather: I know

    Pacquiao: DANG IT!

He could insult his mother or his kids..but pac is too cool for that type of crap...it will be fun to see if it happens that is, floyd trying to annoy pacman like he's done everyone else...but i seriously think talking about PBF v PACMAN is putting the cart before the horse....because JMM is one of the most technically sound fighters of this era and by no way is it foregone that floyd will skate by him...

No it isn't. But if Marquez wants to beat Mayweather he is gonna have to time him and pot shot him. Because Mayweather isn't gpnna come forward, he is gonna make Marquez come forward against him and the question is, is Marquez fast enough to time Mayweather to the point of getting off before him? Because he isn't gonna run in guns blazing against Floyd.

So it could be a boring fight. Won't harm either of their reputations though. But the fight won't be a gun fight
