Mcewenhas some serious long stretch stamina issues. You see his body language in the corner when they were taping his glove....literally drooped over and rested head.Looks like he'll get the nod but still having a hard time calling him true "prospect" .Got alot of work to do!

Was that Barrera on that Tecate Commercial...shaving his tounge .That was good

Sounds like a good fight... McEwan wins by UD but still a work in progress... Good tough test...

Have to ask though, considering your past thread......and put Roach aside. Can you honestly say that you think he beats Angulo ??Let alone 'hangs' with him?

I think Angulo would chop that tree down to body, and then do bad things to his head when he tires

Same thinking here... Tho I think McEwan still loves "to be mauled" by Angulo if given a chance...

Ok so what were we supposed to be impressed by with McEwan?

I understand he has the celebrity trainer, but I wasn't impressed at all.

His hands are low, but he doesn't have the speed to justify that style,
simple mark, McEwan is a nasty KO waiting to happen. I did have him
winning by 2 rounds, not exactly dominant, and this is a Vera that's
coming off a near death experience against Kirkland.

Broner on the other hand reminds me of a poor man's Berto, fantastic
handspeed, but when he's in the wrong real estate he freezes. I do
think it's a simple thing for him to learn, spinning out. I actually had
Quintero ahead on this night just for volume and making the fight happen.
Quintero is a small version of Zuri "The incredible hulk" Lawrence.

Hatley impressed me the most on this card pinpoint accuracy (unlike
my spelling). Will be watching out for him again.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I wasn't impressed at all. The guy is a KTFO waiting to happen, and the minute he jumps to the next level he gets floored.

Lee, imo, is better than him. I thought Vera looked a little sluggish in the fight, and I don't really think too much of Vera. McEwan has skill, but he is slow, and he sure took risks by keeping his hands down while in no mans land, standing straight up and backing out if he wasn't moving to the side. The 1st guy he fights that can throw a straight right hand is going to floor him; someone similar to a Pavlik type. And I think they need to do some conditioning work. This guy ain't going to be anything more than a c+ fighter at best imo. I think he gets blasted within his next 2-3 fights. He better be thankful Kirkland pulled a dummy or he would have gotten freight trained. Let him step in with Julio.

And I forget at the moment who said it but yeah that Broner kid is absolutely nothing more than a poor mans Berto; 1st think I thought of about 2 rounds in. The guy he fought was horrible; that fight should never have gone the distance; at least if you look at Boner's ko ratio. I was having difficulty staying awake
